Apparently, Tazz and Cole made an unscheduled appearance on Byte This and started bitching about how Smackdown is treated like a B-show and deserves much more respect than it gets. They were only on the show because they were at corporate doing production work and volunteered to show up while they were there. The company was unhappy and deleted the whole thing from their archive. While it's possible that this is a work, if it isn't, it's just another example of how batshit everyone in Stamford is going lately. Seriously, is someone putting roofies in the vents or something?

Add this to the "Eddy Guerrero is the best wrestler in the world in 2004" list. I don't want to write too much because I don't want to spoil this. Usual story of Rey being the flyer and Eddy being the wrestler. Since the WWE Title is on the line, Rey brings everything he has. While Rey brings the flying, Eddy is content to work the arm with basic wrestling holds, which only makes Rey's flying seem all the more spectacular. Damn, whatta card tonight. An ok opener with Florian totally outmatching his opponent followed by THREE fights that go the distance and were entertaining from the opening bell. I can't disagree with the decisions; Luke really didn't dominate any real portion of the fight as Joe kept it on the ground and Brad didn't take advantage of Rashad's fatigue (probably because he was tired himself) and Diego took care of Diaz (who did a good job being a complete prick). Sleazy D must be very happy right now. My exposure is limited, but this has to be the best MMA show I've ever seen.

For something that's been the talk of the 'net for years, this is a set that should've gone all out to blow us away. Instead, early reports indicate that the set simply blows. You'll get your Manias, but expect a lot of annoying hang-ups to come with 'em. I read some thoughts from someone who got the set early and damn. Thoughts so far: - It's pretty clear that someone has got to go on the announce team. Coach is trying to keep his spot by dominating the talk, which is getting very annoying cause he sucks. King is barely getting any words in, and Styles is just calling the action. It's not working. Styles is doing a good enough job calling the action, but there is no insight coming from any of them. Probably because there isn't any, but they're all too busy trying to get their voices in and its just all babble and noise. Right now, it looks like King isn't long for the world. WWE needs a new announce team, and I think Coach and Styles would be better than JR and King. I th…
