Just saw this at PWI, in an ad for their "elite" service - How two WWE wrestlers did the same exact thing as Edge and Lita, and instead got reprimanded for it instead of pushed as a top angle. Rumors have it that a SD diva had an affair with a married wrestler Does anyone know the deal? Furthermore, and I don't know if this is related or not, but I read at another forum that in the this week's Observer, Meltzer says that Dawn Marie is pregnant. I don't know if it is legitimate or not, but I think something big is going on backstage, so I'm inclined to believe it's true. Sorry for bringing this up if it turns out to be a BS rumor started on the net. An…

The name of the show is "Mind Games", and that is essentially what this match is. Mankind attempts to confuse, frustrate and annoy HBK throughout, in an attempt to beat him psychologically. Even before the match has begun, Mankind comes to the ring contained in a coffin. This may seem small, but it shows he is comfortable in something linked so closely with death. Mankind goes on to attempt to lock Michaels into the casket later on, at which point Michaels freaks and attempts to get out as fast as possible, perhaps showing he is not as psychologically strong as Mankind. Mankind works some simplistic brawling early on, but manages to put enough energy into each shot t…

Quote from alkeiper about Foley/HBK: Could you clarify what you mean by the word "psychology"? Not to say this is the case with you, but I've seen many people who seem to think that psychology is something that focuses on the unimportant stuff instead of the important stuff. Psychology is simply "why" -- not much else to it besides that. All matches are going to have psychology, it's just that some matches are going to have good psychology and some matches are going to have bad psychology. In short, a match that has good psychology is a match that makes sense. It's something that's often taken in the wrong direction -- some seem to think psychology is nothing m…

You know you want to participate. NO HONORABLE MENTIONS (which includes "just missed the list). That's cheating! PUT THEM IN ORDER, damnit! "I can't put them in order" is a fucking cop-out, man. 1. Vader Vader is the best big man to ever wrestle in my eyes. Seeing as how I'm a big guy myself, and pretty much always have been, I looked at Vader as sort of a role model. He was the reason that I started watching WCW over WWF. He was also a big reason why I started looking for japanese matches. 2. Michael "P.S." Hayes The Fabulous Freebirds are my favorite tag team of all-time. That alone is enough to include Hayes. Still, his character, love him or hate h…

Okay, take a look at this. The idea is a database of wrestlers, promotions, matches, feuds and so on. It's run in a "wiki", which allows people to update pages themselves. Basically, if you have anything to add, then you just... add it. Currently there's no resrictions on who can edit pages, other than being logged in, but it's possible to "roll back" pages if there's abuse. Basically, it'd be awesome if you all added your own information, match reviews, and so on to the site. There's a very basic guide to adding stuff on there, with more detail here. I added on of Loss' reviews so that you can get an idea of the format (I was at work, so I had more access…

From Meltzer: I haven't seen Juvi in some time. How was he in TNA? Where has he been wrestling in Mexico, and has he been any good there? If he can even become 60% of what he was at his peak, he'll do fine in WWE, but if he's still got the bad attitude he was famous for a while back, and it looks like he might, then he's going to be in for a rough time. Juvi is a shining example of what can go wrong big success comes to a wrestler at a young age.

PWI Clearly trying to bury the show, they will be lucky to reach a 3.0 (if that) on Friday Nights
