So with one promotion currently open and at least one more that will be opening up soon I thought I might as well make a new topic to call for anyone who is looking to join the 1983 project(since a new topic gets put on the main page and attracts more attention) If you've just been lurking and aren't signed up to the board, don't feel like that excludes you. All 3 new writers who have come in have had 0 posts outside of the fantasy project so it's not like you won't be welcomed in. If you have an issue getting validated then try and hang around somewhere in the 1983 folder on your non-validated account instead of staying as a guest and I'll eventually see you in yello…

I'm so busy and writing the TV shows is taking up too much time to do well. If somebody wants to come in and help me out that would be awesome.

With the USA time slot that I inherited from Central States, I want to institute the show as the NWA Showcase beginning 10/16. Obviously since WWA has the time slot, I'll be including one WWA segment every week and I want to include three additional territories each week, so essentially everybody involved with that week's show gets a 15-minute block (12 minutes or so factoring commercials) to show matches and/or promos as they please. Obviously it will be essentially a recap show, but I'm giving each territory full reign over how their block of the show goes. So it's basically on you whether you want to film an exclusive match for the show, cobble together footage o…

Thought I'd resurrect this, and hopefully, it'd get a little more love than the August edition did. Anyway... Top 5 Fed's. 1.) Southwest - For me, show to show, Southwest most feels like what stumbling on a random territorial show is like among the active writers. Other people get very, very close (and Kris writing Georgia when it was active was probably even closer), but of the little Southwest I've seen, you could drop a description of a Southwest show goc has written onto Wrestlingclassics and you'd probably get away with it, aside from the David Von Erich heel run. 2.) Mid-Atlantic - Beast is consistent, has a great roster, great feuds, and of course, the…

WWF at Madison Square Garden Jul 5th, 1983 Vince McMahon introduces the show by hyping the fact that there are three titles on the line on tonight’s MSG card. There are cities and places that are not being run by certain promotions an I wanted to start a thread where people can ask if anybody has a problem with them running those towns. I have a dilemma for my September schedule. I have a long drive from the Maritimes to Windsor, Ontario (20 hours) and would love to stop along the way and have a show somewhere, the problem is Parv and maybe somebody else being annoyed by this. First: 9/13 Berwick Arena in Berwick, Nova Scotia 9/17 either Niagra Falls or Windsor That's a three day stretch to do a 20 hour drive (17 for Niagra Falls), not soooo horrible. It's the worst my territory has to offer. However, if I could t…

There is a bunch of promotions that haven't entered September yet, we are at the 20th of September. For those that are that far behind, I have a question for you "Are you still in?" If you are still in, there is options like just starting from now and doing a brief recap of feuds to catch us up to date. Of course you could write all the shows and catch up too. Up to you. If you are that far behind, let us know what you want to do? September is a crazy month for most people, so we get it. However, let's just some confirmations. If we are getting a massive exodus, we will rethink a plan for what to do with dead territories. Let's just get an update here,…
