I don't know how well this is going to go over but I want to throw it out there anyway... nobody saw Dylan leaving and he has his reasons but I don't think he will be the last. Sometimes, life is just oging to get the best of people. My first thought when Portland went down, was to give it to Vancouver. My first thought if ICW went down would be to give it to Memphis, etc. Would you be interested in coming up with a territory merge system where when somebody drops out, a sister territory "wins the war". Since I decided to run in all the OHL towns and my main arena is the home of the Maple Leafs, scheduling from October to April is going to be a challenge. Is anyone else taking into account sports teams scheduled games while making their schedules?

Mid South Wrestling is relaunching with a new set of TV and a SuperDome Show coming in July on the 6th at the Shreveport Boys Club and 16th at the Superdome. We're also running July 7th in Biloxi, July 12th in Shreveport, and July 14 in Jackson. These TV shows will be headlined by stars such as Ted DiBiase, Dick Murdoch, Andre the Giant, The Sheik, Mil Mascaras, Junkyard Dog and more. This will be open until the end of Sunday 7/5 EST or once all NWA voters have voted or once a majority choice is reached. I will only vote in case of a tie or to finalize a majority vote. If you vote for OTHER, please identify your choice in a post. The final rankings may influence future choices for champion. Discussion of when the title will change hands and length of the next reign will occur following this vote. Nothing is set in stone. If a wrestler is chosen, but their home promoter does not want them to become touring champion at this time, their reign will be delayed until a possible future date and the role will go to the 2nd place finisher.

It has become painfully obvious that I will not be able to do this by myself for a number of reasons. I am looking for an assistant booker. Job Duties Include: Writing up the TV after being given guidelines by head booker (me) Finalizing Arena Cards (results and direction already given, just cleaning it up and posting it) Assist with long term booking plans, recommend talent and give and take on existing ideas (let me know if you think my ideas suck and vice versa) Other duties as needed. Members of the NWA, please share your top 1-3 picks for the next NWA Champion and reasons why. On Friday, a poll with the most common choices will go up for July 4th weekend. Voters have those three days to make a choice. Once everyone votes or the weekend passes (whatever comes sooner), the NWA's next champion should be decided. Discussion of timing will follow.

For some reason I can't make any kind of link work on this. On obsessedwithwrestling.com there is a referees list for various promotions/territories that seems pretty comprehensive. If someone knowledgeable about the Montreal territory in the 80s could point me at a few of the refs active around 83 that would be greatly appreciated. I figured anyone looking for a good ref list would appreciate the link and perhaps some guidance from those a bit more familiar with their territory than they are if that is the case.

So far, reading the results of the TV shows and Big Shows has been awesome. I hope to contribute in some form or fashion in that dept. once my TV gets up and running but these have been a joy to read so far... yes, that means Grimmas too.

I was trying to figure out how I was going to present my shows. I think I have settled upon this for major/tv shows: Maple Leaf Wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens July 26, 1983 in Toronto, Ontario 1. For those who don't have avatars, would you be willing to add one that represents your territory? This isn't a demand but when you PM me about trades and dates, it would help me remember what territory I am dealing with. Obviously I wouldn't ask Jerry Von Kramer to give up his Sean Mooney avatar (even though I gave up my long prized Motorhead) but I like that when I am communicating with peachchaos, there is Sty Hart staring at me or beast has Jimmy Crockett. Hell, even Grimmas is Jack Tunney. That is some dedication!!!

Since nothing is determined and we start in a few days maybe we should at least book out Harley for July? Who wants him for the weeks of July? We can have a more formal process going forward, but Harley not working in July is just wrong.

Since I am late to the game, I have been trying to navigate these threads so I don't keep asking questions that have already been addressed. Do you guys have any suggestions for any sub forums that can be created to keep track of things. We can create subforums for each fed. We can create a trading forum or drafting forum. At the very least, I think we should have a sub forum for the feds once shows start to be booked. A forum for each fed may be too much but at least a forum with nothing but the fed threads where people are booking. Let me know what you guys think.
