Forget it. I loved pretty much everything about this week's show. Smaller building (which is the way to go), hot crowd, excellent matches all night, cool vignette and backstage interviews, good lead-in to PPV matches. Nice ! Toni Storm coming back as her old self is an interesting bet. I much prefer this version of her anyway and after the while, the gimmick, as fun as it was, was only gonna go in circles. Not to say they can't bring it back eventually for special occasions, Cactus Jack style.

Yes, this is a riff on @flyonthewall2983's WWE thread of the same name, but it's also become kind of necessary. I am rooting for AEW and hope most of this is a clever work designed to get everyone talking and/or these situations can be resolved. I'll certainly be tuning into Dynamite this week, that's for damn sure! With that said, there's a ton of drama going on right now. - MJF no-showing a fan-fest, cutting a heated promo on Dynamite, missing months of action. - Eddie Kingston and Sammy Gueverra getting into a physical altercation backstage after Sammy body-shamed Eddie during a promo. - Punk and Scott Colton's long-standing litigious issues. …

Cope and Christian’s first match as a team in a decade. Good work against Killswitch and Sabian, some odd spots but not a whole lot of rust between them.

I suppose this can go in this forum since it’s basically just additional AEW content at this point. By looking at the card, it feels like it could be sneakily a very good show and a great warm-up for the big one on Saturday. At the very least, the two World Title matches will be good and I fully expect Dustin to work a miracle with The Infantry.

I have a question...has anybody here heard anything about the contract status of the following talents? - Private Party - The Gunns - The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) - Keith Lee - Jack Perry - RUSH - Britt Baker If online chatter is to be believed, all of those talents are 100% healthy and ready to work, but for reasons only known to Tony Khan, they are being kept off TV. If they are coming up on their contract renewal dates and are refusing to sign new deals, then I totally get it. Why give free publicity to somebody who will be going to work for your competition? In the case of Keith Lee, I even get it because t…

Both Owen finals and AitA look great, while almost everything else (okay, other than the tag titles) has potential to get there or at least over-deliver. And its a 3 day weekend which means I won't be getting antsy when the main event starts around sunrise. Let's go!

All signs point to this being another typically overstuffed AEW PPV that will no doubt have excellent matches but will have everyone saying "dang it didn't need to be THIS long" by the end. I suppose there could be worse problems a promotion could have than having too many great matches on ever show. My big prediction is of course ol' Cope getting Sting'd by FTR, since it seems like the plan is going to be FTR vs Edge & Christian at All In.

Pretty big show tonight. Arguably the deepest, best built show in a few years other than a main event that some (I) find lacking by virtue of not wanting to see a senior citizen get murdered. Who's watching?

Ospreay vs. Fletcher was an absolutely phenomenal opener that blew away their match at Full Gear. Very much benefitted from the heat and finish from that show but I will take this over that every day. Hell of a start to this or any show.

Probably showing my age here, but Nick Waynes Mom got it going on... Respectfully, of course. Not feeling this PPV coming up, but O'Spreay and Kyle Fletcher should be good fun if nothing else. I hate to keep harping on it, but Adam Cole looks awful both physically and in his ring work. It looked like he could barely lift Takeshita tonight. He looked like he was falling over. It's just bad

Well, one thing Adam Cole didn't do during his 14 month lay off was train his upper body.

Wonder if Lin-Manuel called him up about his “The Warriors” remake. Things need to pick up a bit, methinks.

Needed more mention of Danielson in the early goings but it soon ramped up in an awesome way. John Silver chasing off after the truck wasn’t quite as good as Savage hanging off the back of the nWo limo but it was great nonetheless

So at this point it seems all but official AEW has a new deal with WBD and based on a combination of insider news and TK being incapable of keeping any secrets. So far it looks like it's going to be $170 million a year for 3 years and an option for a fourth, which is about double what they have now. They would air on TNT, TBS and Tru TV two times a week. Dave seems to be under the impression Tru TV would be airing reruns of Dynamite or Collision since they are trying to rebrand it as a sports network from 8-10pm. I think it also would be a good place for them to stick a ROH tv show if they could convince WBD to throw it in the pot. AEW PPVs will also start streaming on …

I'm dying at him saying "fuck Jon Moxley" all peacefully and shit Danielson getting as much matches as possible out of the way before he puts his buddy over in Tacoma. The match has been made official and it's title vs title it seems, as they've said the Continental belt is only on the line for the first 20 minutes (its TV time limit). Does Ospreay and Ricochet open the show with a 30 minute draw? Hangman vs Juice is actually the match I'm most intrigued about. Also, a lot of talk that they will actually announce the new TV deal. TK do loves his symbolism in his wrestling.

My hope is that with the TV deal now in place, the placement of bigger deal shows gets better. Part of why Grand Slam deteriorated over four years was because it isn’t nearly as important as shows two weeks before and two weeks after it, so place it elsewhere so it can be big again. Just a quick reassessment, man.
