Ed. said - One of my favourite wrestlers in the world today. You can tell as early as the Kairi Sane match in the Mae Young Classic that Bianca was gonna be a star, and that was only her third televised match ever. I thought she was a really good heel in NXT, but she's blown me away with her babyface run on the main roster. She's been in the best two womens matches in Wrestlemania history so she ticks the box for big matches, but her case is strengthened by a load of good TV performances in the past 4 years and with the title back on her again I think she's got a great chance to add to her case in the coming years. I think the beauty of her work is how many be…

I said: "From 2017-19 (when I started to really focus on women's indies) Mercedes was the best wrestler in the world (any gender/promotion). A great technician, who can have a technical match, but also with deadly strikes and brutal suplexes. She can brawl, be a heel, be a babyface, or whatever you need. Going through Shimmer she rules in 2005-06 before the injury, that was 15 years ago. She's still really great when chances arise in the WWE. I have some gaps to fill outside of Shimmer and before 2017, but she's making herself a top ten case in my view."

El-P said - An overlooked figure from the 00's indies to today's landscape. He's been half of the Motor-City Machinegun, which has to be considered one of the best and most influential tag team of the last 20 years (without MCMG, there's probably no Young Bucks as they are). Shelley is often thought about as the better worker (which is probably true), but Sabin has been a terrific worker for probably 15 years, still kicking strong to this day at age 40. A fixture in the early X-division, he really figured it out when he started the tag team with Shelley and they have many, many great matches against a variety of teams. In single he became a much more complete worker…

Elliott said: Josh Barnett vs Kiyoshi Tamura (U-Style - 11/23/05) Josh Barnett vs Hideki Suzuki (IGF - 12/31/11) Josh Barnett vs Jon Moxley (Bloodsport - 4/8/21) Pretty surprised Barnett hasn't been nominated. Big burly shoot style worker who can work the mat and strike & suplex with the best of them. The 3 matches I've put forward to go with the nomination I honestly see as MOTDC for each of their decades. If someone has 3 MOTDC in 3 different decades, they deserve a look. Someone I definitely plan on watching more (or ALL) of during this project. His highs are as impressive as pretty much anyone from the last 20 years.

Cap said: "I've come around a bit late on Deeb, honestly since she has come to AEW. I was familiar with her as a strong wrestler before that, but she has blown me away in the past year or so. In turn, my nomination is based on a small sample size, but my gut tells me the past year is not some anomaly. Skimming her cagematch page, I am guessing there are some other strong stretches and maybe even some sort of hidden gems in there and I am hoping others can point out if and when/where else she excels. Deeb is well rounded. Her offense has teeth and is tight. Her selling is top notch, both in the moment and consistently through the match. Her physical storytelling is great …

kas said: "Lack of footage hurts her but in every match I see from her I come away thinking she was the stand-out performer. She's probably the best offensive wrestler in the world today, with good mat-work, great striking, a varied moveset, and excellent execution (she's a contender for best superkick ever). She's great at changing up her moveset to fit the situation, sometimes going strike heavy and other times emphasising her size and power advantage with big power moves. She's also incredibly selfless and generous, often giving her opponents enough time to shine and bumping big to get them over." Matches w/Sareee and Nanae Takahashi vs Maria, Mei Hosh…

El McKell said - "Excellent at playing a monster, terrifying prescence, knows exactly how much to give an opponent, breaking out occasional explosive quickness just enough to make it special when he does it. Legit isn't even that big but comes across like he's huge with how he carries himself. A good comparison for him is Mark Henry as someone who is from the same place and time and also really 'gets it' whenit comes to being a monster big man. But unlike Henry, Umaga stepped it up and had great matches when it was asked of him with CM Punk, Jeff Hardy and in an all time classic with John Cena." w/D-Lo Brown vs Keiji Mutoh & Bob Sapp (AJPW - 22nd February 20…

Control21 said: A really underrated shoot-style wrestler who was one of the more promising guys in UWFi along with Kakihara, Tamura, and Sakuraba. He was also a very high-level wrestler who brought a lot of flair to his matches, and became an important figure in UWFi, RINGS, and Kingdom, which sort of speaks to his longevity. His series with Masakazu Maeda is fantastic and might be one of the most underrated feuds in Puroresu. He then had a fantastic series of matches in both UWFi and Kingdom before being a key guy in the later RINGS period, where he probably helped the promotion retain an audience by adding to the undercard. Like the other guys on this list, he did…

Witlon said - "He came along way from being a complete joke to being a perfectly acceptable wrestler with some great matches sprinkled in, and quite frankly, not very much bad stuff after his initial run. The Bryan and Ziggler feuds are some of the memorable stuff the 'E has churned out in the last 10 years, and Miz plays his role perfectly in both." vs. Daniel Bryan (09-19-2010) vs. Daniel Bryan (08-19-2018) vs. Seth Rollins (05-06-2018)

Ma Stump Puller said - " Alright, hear me out on this one. Inoue isn't really much of a hand in his AJPW stuff: I've had the unfortunate task of watching most of it in action: but he evolves into probably the best "fish out of water" wrestlers ever, a pure and true underdog that couldn't even be called that, because at least underdogs win big matches sometimes. Inoue wins nothing, but somehow manages to get the crowd to rally endlessly behind him in every endeavour he makes: either teaming up with the old guard to try to get a big win or staring down some of the meanest, nastiest wrestlers on the roster, he's a true master of getting the most out of a considera…

El McKell said - " I'm probably not the person to make the case for Sara Del Rey but surely some people will want to vote for her. Probably would have been the consensus pick for best women's wrestler in North America during the late 00s or early 10s. One of the MVPs of Shimmer for a number of years, good in Chikara when Chikara was good. Good as both a heel and a babyface and understood how to change how she carried herself for whatever role she was in. People who've seen more of her than me can explain why she's good in th thread" Here' some good easily available matches: vs Mercedes Martinez (November 6th 2005) vs Lacey (June 2nd 2007) w…
