Two of the best wrestlers of their era. They overlapped in enough places that it feels like there should have been a killer match between them at some point.

Last time's #29 vs the reigning champ. Two men often maligned as formula workers. Both of them were productive for a long time. Both of them traveled all over, and made even their smalltown stops count. Both of them have great matches captured with handhelds. So, I was thinking about this during the watch party on Saturday, two guys who came up on the indys at the same time, formed a formidable tag team, then both went to the WWE with differing levels of success. I think they're an interesting comparison.

Another Casas comparison.

Two all timers, who are really good in there youth before exploding into all timers who could do literally anything in the ring. I’ve been doing preliminary checking through my list and it alarmed me how easy they are to imagine each other as wrestling twins in terms of how there careers progressed. Who do ya like.

These two finished #3 (Hansen) and #4 (Misawa) in 2016. I expect they'll be battling for the top 5 in the end. Who you got?

Flair finished first overall last time and his career will always be linked to Steamboat. Curious if anyone will actually be ranking Steamboat over Flair. I personally think Steamboat has the better case in the 90s but how can you compare his 80s run to Flair's?

I anticipate these two challenging Flair/Funk for top 2 in the results. Similar strengths, similar weaknesses. Who you got and where do you anticipate ranking them?

Two big Celtic heavyweights with similar length careers. Both former WWE champions. McIntyre has a credible indy run in his favour, but Sheamus didn't spend time as a comedy job guy. Who you got?

#169 vs #198 from last time. Two guys with generally good reputations, except here, where their nominee threads were largely negative. Two wrestlers who found where the fountain of youth is. Jun is still wrestling, Liger just retired. Jun is still very good, Liger was still very good. Masters of adaptability who could wear different hats yet never strayed from their lanes. Fight!

I have a feeling this is going to be quite one-sided but I'm interested nonetheless. If you had a gun to my head, these would be my automatic #1 and #2 candidates yet if I think of what they bring to the table, I'm not sure they're the best at anything they do. Excellent at everything, sure, but the best? No. They're both holistic candidates in that regard with fantastic peaks, crazy longevity (Casas is still Casas in the year of our lord 2021, fgs!) and both having a bit of downtime in their careers. Whos' ya boy?

Arguably the current best female wrestlers in their respective countries. Who will you rank higher?

For some reason, the idea of comparing Rollins to really good but semi-underrated 1980s stars intrigues me, so ... here we go.
