  1. I'm not sure why I always had this pegged as a disappointment after watching it a few years ago. This was really good, possibly great. Most of it is just them running through their greatest hits in front of a hot Dome crowd, but that's really all I needed. We get an intense Hash/Choshu starting lock-up, Choshu slowly applying the sasorigatame, Hash and Chono doing a Spaghetti Western staredown before Hash wrecks him with kicks and a hard DDT, Hash and Choshu slapping each other, and Saito standing defiantly while Choshu unloads on him with strikes. 3. Pretty much the UWF equivalent to the later RINGS grappling matches. Funaki in his shoes is hilarious. Really enjoyed the early amateur style work especially the toe holds. Then, after some slick but strugglesome grappling Suzuki goes on a tear against Funaki with tight submission attempts only to be caught by surprise. Little too short and sudden to amount to much but I always enjoy a fun undercard match like this.

  4. This was another fun as hell match. Young, lanky Taue gets in some fun nifty spots on Tenryu, and Tenryu just beats his ass. Even with this being a handheld you can tell how rough Tenryu's shots are. Ideal layout where Taue upsets Tenryu early, is made to pay by Tenryu and then keeps coming back with fun surprise moves. Short and to the point.
