  2. What a cool matchup. Kurisu is my favorite all time puro indy crowbar. A balding dumpy looking dude who hits quite a bit harder then is called for. Hashimoto is also willing to hit harder then necessary, and won't take any bullshit from an FMW scrub. Kurisu keeps trying to draw Hashimoto to the floor where he could smack him with the chair. Hash and Kurisu smack the crap out of each other in the ring but Hash obviously has the advantage. Kurisu is able to take over when finally gets Hash outside where he can recklessly crack him with a chair. It can't last forever though and Hash absolutely plants him with a bunch of DDT's at weird unsafe angles. I totally loved this, exa…

  3. A pair of thick bastards maul eachother something fierce. Odds that I was going to like this match were very high to begin with, but Super Strong Machine bringing probably his finest performance ever here made this special. He was just being super vicious trying to take down Big Hash. The whole thing had a very uncooperative feel to it, guys would fight to the corner or the ropes trying to deal out shots, clotheslines were thrown where the guy being knocked down looked like he really didn't want to go down. Even the matwork feels gritty with Hashimoto really stretching out Machine's shoulder with all his weight, and Machine grinding down on the elbow joint. Most of this i…

  4. I've jumped the gun on starting topics before, but I think this is one we missed. This in Eddie and DWB's answer to the Lawler/Dundee promo earlier. Eddie claims that Sam Lowe is his friend, and that the coffee that Anthony threw in his face a couple of weeks ago was cold. He then offers his services as a peacemaker in the Middle East, since his plans always come to pass. Then we get a decent promo from Kim about the stripping match the following Monday with Tessa. Eddie may be the one Memphis heel who can go word for word with Lawler, and Kim's not the worst promo in the world either; she's much better than Tony at this point, in fact. I just wish that the stripp…

  5. Pretty disappointing main event considering the build. 80% of the match is wrestled on the mat and there's some decent struggle with Funaki trying to snag a hold but the match doesn't really pick up until after Takada's nose gets busted. The striking really heats up at that point with some palm thrusts from Funaki and Takada blasting him with knees. They trade big open hands and Funaki lands some nasty knees of his own, one of which splits Takada's eyebrow. They bring in a doctor and the ref calls the match. Womp womp.
