After several weeks worth of delays our 2016 yearbook is out, and I like to think that it is the best thing we have ever put out. We had over a dozen contributors this year covering a wide range of topics from the history of inter-gender wrestling to the year in DDT to IWRG's match of the year, the history of wrestling tournaments, WWE financials, and so much more. So two friends of mine (younger, modern wrestling fans, started in the mid to late 90's) and I are starting up a podcast/viewing project. The idea each episode is to cover a territory with a live one hour "primer" viewing. My goal is to have a good to great match, a major angle and try to get as many of the big players in a territory showcased as possible. Recently I have started getting back into the groove of writing little match reviews/recaps/thought barfs. When I first started doing The Decade in Indie posts it was going to focus solely on the US/Canada indie scene from 2010-2019 (only reviewing matches that were from at least two numbered years prior so if something happened at any point in 2015 I consider it fair game currently). I have had a blog for a while, but I have been posting intermittently since its inception, I think a year ago. However, I am making concerted effort to publish blogs more frequently and with more analysis. The blog will also feature articles on my other two passions: heavy metal and European History.
