http://placetobenation.com/well-do-it-live-cwf-mid-atlantic/ So I'm working on a new project here it may or may not be very regular but it's an important topic to me personal focusing on live wrestling shows. I love to give people the chance to understand something they may never experience themselves as we all can't make towns like Papa Hales so on We'll Do It Live I plan to talk to different people about the live experience of a wrestling show more than just the matches but the crowd, the building, the friends, the bathrooms, the concessions, the area the building is in, and the intangibles that transform wrestling from being a show to feeling like home.

Episode 1 is apparently set to drop today. I will be listening every episode. Even if it is a trainwreck, he's literally worked with them all, so who knows what stuff may come up. That makes it "must-listen" to me, much more than all the other wrestler pods out there. Ric has some interesting opinions about working style and psychology too. If he's in the right mood, he can have a lot to say. Let's hope we get good Ric and not Legends of Wrestling Ric. But I'm excited. EDIT: here it is ... http://www1.play.it/audio/wooooo-nation/

In this pilot episode, the guys take a look at George's pick for the match that got him into Japanese wrestling, a match often cited as the best in-ring wrestling contest of all time. Does it deserve the label? Which participant in the match would David have as his best man? Is human blood an appropriate ingredient for pasta sauce? Match discussed: Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa © vs. Toshiaki Kawada and Akira Taue (AJPW World Tag Team Championship) (AJPW, 9 June 1995) https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/pilot-season-the-puro-pourri-podcast

Hi everyone, I wrote a book last year that I thought some people here might be interested in, it got a really nice review from John Lister at prowrestlingbooks.com. By the way, I've genuinely been coming here since it started, read the board most days, even considered joining in with GWE til I saw how mad it sent some people! Anyway, for 9 years I was a wrestler in the Northeast of England, so obscure that even you lot won't have heard of me. I'm now a stand up comedian and wrote a book about it. People seem to have liked it so far. Here's some blurb about it. Thanks Lee 'Spandex Ballet - How I Wasted My Twenties Wrestling' has been called 'genuinely funny - on…

Between the Sheets #75: December 21-27, 1992 My uncle recorded that Regis episode for me when I little. And Summerslam. (He was excited to use his new VCR at the time) Anyway I absolutely love that segment where he teases Kathy Lee. It was all innocent fun until she started talking shit in her book. I believe she also was disgusted with the Bushwackers. Bix you described that "chase scene" exactly right. Fuck her. Regis was so happy. I love when Regis does the Rude gyrations! Bobby was great as usual. Rude was the best at promoting events. And Kris are you serious saying Frank Gifford would be a threat to Rude. That's like saying Jimmy Hart is a threat to Haku!…
