A very old friend of mine, dating back to Calgary in 1989, has recently started a podcast with two of his friends devoted to reviewing season 2 of Lucha Underground. The three of them have great chemistry, are naturally funny, and I think it is an entertaining show. They also keep things concise, with episodes usually maxing out at 40 minutes or so. If you are interested in Lucha Underground, check them out https://soundcloud.com/lucha-afterground (Before anyone asks, I've told my pal to enable downloads for the last two eps)

Discussing all the moves WWE made instead, such as the return of ECW and DX, we also take your comments on what you felt needed to be done in place of what was a rather awful, regressive year. All that, and the announcement of the first SCG giveaway! A very fun show this week, check it out and let us know what you think! http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/play/edjv6y/SCG_Radio_77_-_Rebooking_WWE_in_2006.mp3

Confessions first, being born in 1979 in MA I never was able to watch Memphis Wrestling as a kid. I thought Jerry Lawler was a joke to be honest until I bought the Wrestling Gold set and learned otherwise. Anyway I have recently acquired about 200 episodes of Memphis TV (the Evansville show usually) from 78-84, the years that most fascinate and interest me. I was thinking of doing a podcast looking at 4 or so episodes a month. The idea would be to have a Memphis expert team up with me, a total newbie to Memphis week in and week out, and look at those years as they developed. I think the idea of having someone raised WWF style working with an expert might have a…
