Hi there. My name is Ryan Carse and I don't post here anywhere near as much as I should considering the knowledge and thought-provoking discussion that's produced on a regular basis. Some of you may know that I'm the editor for a quarterly professional wrestling magazine called The Tag Rope. We believe in presenting a completely different form of wrestling magazine than anything else on the market. Long-form articles, original artwork and captivating photography are the credos which we want to ingrain …

Everyone’s 12th favorite podcast is back! This time, the king of wrestling podcasts, Joe Gagne, returns to the show to list the 10 greatest “What Ifs” in wrestling. For example: what if you listened to this podcast instead of not listening to it? The course of your life would change dramatically! On the show, Matt and Joe think of all of the times where one little change would have altered the wrestling world forever. List spoilers: what if the Young Stallions never broke up? What if Mick Foley’s last name was Jackson instead of Foley? (His name would have been Mick Jackson!) What if John Cena’s finisher was the top rope double axehandle? We go in depth on these topics an…

It's called Proyecto Suplex! In my first contribution, I wrote about the body as a tool for representation in Silver Star vs. Charles Lucero (22/6/14): La fragilidad del cuerpo

New stuff came out in Gawker's lawsuit against the FBI right as the leak happened, and, well, it's REALLY interesting, so I did an extensive piece on it. Read several boards yesterday and kept hearing about this Austin/Piper controversy, so decided to listen to Piper's podcast. While Piper and his co host Earl kept making the claim of "satire", the entire thing was harsh and personal, which I don't mind (people need thicker skin)...but was odd with Austin being the one who went to bat for Piper to get a podcast in the first place. The whole thing was just odd (although Sasso does a great Austin).
