  1. Started by Dylan Waco,

I started listening to these today and the two I have listened to have been really good (Drew Delite who owns Empire Wrestling and Bill Behrens show which is an absolutely AWESOME history lesson on Wildside). Fun format on the shows with Wilson cutting promos on shit that annoys him early, and then focused and interesting interviews. He's got shows with guys like AJ Styles, Kyle Matthews, Caprice Coleman and others so I will probably end up wasting WAY too much time listening to these shows over the next couple of months. https://www.youtube.com/user/PoddyHumor

http://davidbix.com/the-bix-show-episode-4-sean-wheelock/ Sean Wheelock, the voice of Bellator MMA, joins the show to talk about growing up as a wrestling fan in Kansas City in the ’80s, including seeing Ric Flair’s first NWA World Heavyweight Title win live at Memorial Hall. We also talk about MMA, including topics related to “Is This Legal,” his book with Art Davie about the creation of the UFC, as well as intersecting topics like the effects of the death of kayfabe on pro wrestling, shoots and double crosses, what pro wrestling moves work in reality, and more. Sean is a lot of fun and I can’t wait to have him back on. Also make sure to check out Let’s Get it On, hi…

Hey guys, I know this is bad form to plug something I was involved in when I have so few posts, but I just joined the site pretty recently. I don't do podcasts super frequently, so my posts will not all be plugs, I promise. Justin Shapiro and I did a podcast discussing the current scene, and booking, and talent in WWE and I think we get pretty in depth. It's gotten some good feedback in other places, so I figured I'd plug it here. http://www.thecubsfan.com/2014/03/07/justin-shapirshow-episode-7-royal-pains-with-matt-feuerstein/ Here's Justin's official blurb for the show: And we’ll never be royal (rumble winners) There’s no run-ins or blood That kind of pu…

Hey Guys, I wanted to get this plug out of my system. I have teamed up with Justin (bigelow34), Scott, and Brad to be the editors of placetobenation.com. The genesis was to create a website that merges wrestling in a hodge podge of other pop culture facets. The closest template to another website would be grantland.com. I want to thank a couple of you that have already had some nice things to say about the website and/or my Chikara live review. I know that we have worked very hard in the past month to get this website off the ground and looking professional. I am proud of the staff we have initially assembled and the way the site looks. I want to …

  22. This week's Squared Circle Gazette Radio takes examples from here and a number of other forums of matches where the Wrong Guy Went Over. Talking the many examples provided by Hulk Hogan and Triple H (including Randy Orton, Randy Savage, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk and more), main event pushes gone awry in Ryback and Lex Luger, Super Sunday, perfect endings ruined by overthinking, as well as some outright travesties through recent wrestling history.
