  4. Inspired by goodhelmet's thread, this week's Squared Circle Gazette Radio takes nominations and talks about almost every Rumble PPV in history to determine those considered the Best and Worst of All Time. This was a really fun look at classics like 1992, 2000 and 2001, ones that may have fallen short like 1993, 1995 and 2006, and a whole host of others that people made a strong case for, one way or the other. A good way to kick off Rumble season! Check it out and as always, let me know what you think! http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/web/8wiksa/SCGRadio27-TheBestandWorstRoyalRumblePPVs.mp3

  9. Started by DownNDirtyTN,

Well, that's the proposed name anyway. This is something that I'm looking to start within the next 4 to 6 weeks. First let me introduce myself. My name is Ricky Whittenburg and I'm from a small town in East Tennessee (which happens to be the biggest county by land mass in the whole state). I'm about 15 minutes from Johnson City where the NWA/WCW ran often at Freedom Hall. Also, about an hour and a half from Knoxville. I've been a wrestling fan my entire life. My dad was always a big fan and I learned to read by having him read PWI's to me basically. He would then have me read to him so those are some of my earliest memories as a wrestling fan. I think everyone thinks…

  13. On Episode 62 of the Wrestling Cuulture podcast recorded earlier today,Dylan Hales and I are joined by our good friend Tim Livingston to review the year 2014 in wrestling. It took some work to pull it together techincally today and it is posted in two parts, but it may be one of our best shows. 14. Will is joined by Pete and Johnny (Titans of Wrestling), Dylan Hales (Wrestling Culture) and documentary maker Johnny P to discuss Wrestle Kingdom 9! We run down all the matches, give a little bit of background on the wrestlers and mispronounce a bunch of names! This is NOT a show for hardcore New Japan fans but a great listen for people who want to know what all the fuss is about. http://placetobenation.com/wrestle-kingdom-9-reaction-show/

  15. Following on from the historic event, the SCG panel review the whole show top to bottom, breaking down all the matches and outcomes, conflicting thoughts on JR & Striker, possible future directions and take a lot of fan feedback on the event itself. An interesting show, as the panel is a mix of New Japan regulars and newbies, and there are some differing opinions that were surprising with the show watched through different sets of eyes. A really fun show to do, check it out and as always, let me know what you think~! http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/play/e7pbtk/SCGRadio26-WrestleKingdom9Review.mp3

  18. Started by Dylan Waco,

The Cubed Circle Newsletter is one of the only wrestling sites/blogs/newsletters I read regularly, so I was overjoyed when Ryan Clingman asked me to contribute something to the first ever CCN Yearbook this year. I had to cut my entry way short from what I originally wanted it to be and as such it is an abbreviated look at several promotions, with a slight emphasis on Indie wrestling including a couple of my standard LISTS to cap it off. But my entry is probably the weakest portion of the entire yearbook which is filled with detailed rundowns on virtually every aspect of the global wrestling landscape, from a variety of contributors. Skimming through it now I'm pretty am…

  23. Started by BillThompson,

Magazine I write for just released their third issue. I wrote two articles this time out. One is a review of Owen/Shamrock from Fully Loaded '98. The other is a business versus art piece where I question why wrestling fans seem to care so much about drawing power and other business metrics. There's also an interview with Jeff Jarrett, a Wrestle Kingdom 9 preview, and an interview with Danny Havoc, and a piece on British Boot Camp. Lots of pretty pictures and drawings too boot. All in all it's a swell magazine, you can order either a physical or online copy, and it's pretty cheap. Physical Online

I can't even remember how it came to mind, but I noticed Fall Guys isn't available in the Kindle store. So since it's public domain, I decided to take the opportunity to put one together. It's fully formatted with chapters, a table of contents, all of the proper text formatting, etc. Go buy it here. By far the best digital version to date, and now I can go work on something I actually wrote myself.
