  6. Started by BillThompson,

I don't pimp my own stuff often, but I figured I'd create a thread for my website here. It's only been around for a few months, and basically it serves as a way for me to express my love of pro wrestling. It's not what I would consider a smark website, it's more along the lines of a dude writing about why he thinks matches are great. To that end I'm using the website similar to the way that guys like Dylan and Matt explore and discuss wrestling. Each post is about one match, and often it's tied into some sort of project I'm undertaking in my wrestling viewing. For instance, my big project I've been working on since the start of the site is to explore all the PPVs on the N…

Find my general announcement about "Rewind Month" on the PWO-PTBN feed here. Over the next month, I'll be pulling out key matches from the review archive to give people a quick and easy reference point, and also as a kind of service for new listeners who might feel a bit put off by the prospect of listening to 100+ hours. And maybe some long-time listeners might enjoy reliving some "highlights". Kind of like bite-size podcasts, or podcasting fast food. The idea is one a day, but I can't promise that. First up is Magnum vs. Tully from Starrcade 85: https://soundcloud.com/jerryvonkramer/wtbbp-rewind-magnum-ta-vs-tully-blanchard I'll post new ones in this thre…

A few weeks ago, I left Bleacher Report to become WhatCulture's U.S. Editor. And I should really be linking my stuff here. This is my latest, which I'm sure people here will find interesting: 7 Incredibly Messed Up Allegations From WCW’s Racial Discrimination Lawsuits. Sort of companion piece here: 10 WCW Wrestlers Who Were Ridiculously Overpaid. More to come along these lines, including a some more from the discrimination lawsuits and then, while I don't want to promise anything, I'm hoping that next, we'll get stuff from the Jesse Ventura videotape royalties suit against WWE and their licensees. I can't say enough about how happy I am that WhatCulture wants …
