We got a good bit of feedback from this board, so we read and discussed a lot of the points mentioned. Some good debate on the next top star, women's wrestling, whether we believe wrestling is cyclical, and much more. Should be on iTunes this week, barring any issues, but feedback is extremely welcome... http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/play/b9w4fs/SCGRadio3-WhatDoesWrestlingNeed.mp3 http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/play/b9w4fs/SCGRadio3-WhatDoesWrestlingNeed.mp3

Thought I'd post my wrestling blog. Really early on but I'm really just doing write up of matches. None will probably be from this year but we'll see. It is mostly for my organization of my thoughts on matches but if people are interested in reading them and commenting on them then there's that. Latest match I write about is Ishikawa vs Ikeda from 2005. http://spandexarestillcool.wordpress.com

I started a new podcast which is going to be based on making top 20 lists of various topics. It won't always be wrestling-related, but this first episode is. It features Alan4L, Justin Shapiro and me running down top 20 lists of the best United States-based workers from 2002 through 2014. Alan and I both have our own lists, and they probably won't align to the tastes around here, but I think it might spark some fun debate. It's the first episode, so please excuse some less-than-ideal audio quality. Let me know if you end up checking it out, because I'd love feedback to both the topic and the podcast itself. http://www.thecubsfan.com/2014/06/03/list-em-and-lear…

http://memphiswrestlinghistory.com/mwh1977.html Just recieved my copy in the mail the other day and I am hooked. I loved the 1982 book and it may be my favorite book ever. Well the 1977 book is just as entertaining so far and you get the added history of the breakup between Jarrett and Gulas. I noticed Eric Ritz and I were high dollar kickstarter contributors so look for our names in the credits. If you enjoyed the 1982 book, 1977 is a must have.

Dylan Hales and I discussed Hulk Hogan vs. Vader at WCW SuperBrawl 5. We talked about why this feud is perceived so negatively by some smart fans; how Vader's aura was affected by the buildup, the match and the later matches; how WCW had evolved into Hogan's image; what role Vader might have played against the New World Order; and why this is one of Hogan's best performances. Well, with today's roster cuts being made, it seems like the appropriate time to post our second podcast, where we run down the entire WWE roster and decide who needs to be fired, who need to be pushed, etc. This one was a lot of fun to record, got some good discussion going about the state of the company and potential directions for certain guys, check it out and let me know what you think. http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/web/32ztns/SCGRadio2-RosterCuttingShow.mp3
