Hi all, this will be on iTunes soon, see below for the first two shows. Had fun with soup23 doing this. I know what you're thinking, "just what the world needs, another wrestling podcast", but this one is a bit different. We're only covering NWA and WCW PPV shows and Clash of the Champions, with maybe some AWA and other stuff mixed in as we move forward -- I see this as being a niche in the market that nobody has bothered to fill, because so many podcasts focus on WWF/E. The plan is for most shows to feature a guest, hopefully drawn from the ranks of this place -- so if you'd be interested in getting involved shoot me a PM, knowledge of NWA stuff is not a pre-requisite. O…

We also talk about his WWE run, in particular the story behind his ill fated haircut, and whether the talent was aware of the infamous 2011 WWE Superstars phenomenon. http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2013/10/0...-wrestling-nwa/

Since this section is behind the log in curtain, I'll toss it here. It's a recent subsection of an essay by Bill James that I thought was a good read. * * * * * IV. On the Practical Advantages of BS Did you ever think about this: that Bullshit has a huge advantage over actual knowledge, in that bullshit can be created and deployed wherever it is needed, whereas actual knowledge has very limited ability to travel? At this time of year I get a lot of questions from people who want to know who I think is going to win the World Series, and whether it is better to win your division and have a 7-day cooling off period before you go into the playoffs or whet…

One of the weaker major New Japan iPPV’s, but I would still recommend it for hardcores, and some of the stuff in the second half is worth seeking out for everybody else. I’m not sure how I feel about Tanahashi/Okada VI coming this soon, but if any promotion has earned “let it play out” status with their booking, it’s New Japan." http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2013/09/2...ruction-review/
