http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...2658&cmd=tc Episode 16 is up. We fight through some technical difficulties and are joined by Thomas Holzerman of the The Wrestling Blog/Fair To Flair Quarterly/Cageside Seats. We run our mouths about indy wrestling and the effect the internet has had on wrestling and wrestling fans. Tom talks up Chikara, Dave talks about upcoming shows, I complain about tv ratings and a certain Dragon Gate USA booker. If you can wade through the occasional cross talk and Dave's phone being mean a fun time was had by all.

http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...2658&cmd=tc Episode EIGHTTTT! Dave and I are joined by the legendary Goodhelmet/Will The Thrill to discuss the All Japan Best of The 80's Set. We talk about the best matches on the set, the best wrestlers, whether or not Footloose was a Blowjob Tag Team, Crystal Gale as a sex symbol that may or may not have slept with Dusty Rhodes, the similarities between Killer Khan and porn stars, and other things that don't relate to graphic sex acts. We set the table for the coming Portland and AWA Sets, advocate for Hansen as a top ten guy of all time, and debate the merits of Fujinami v. Tenryu as the best Japanese wrestler…

http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...2658&cmd=tc AND WE R BACK! The missing Maritimes show, re-done! Bigger, Better, Crazier! Dave, myself and special guest Andrew Lacelle cover the whole gamut of Maritimes wrestling history, from the Carnie circuit to racist promotional tactics to The (REAL) Cuban Assassin to the great Leo Burke to Rip Rogers and all spots in between. Dave does some great historical rundowns, Andrew compares Grand Prix to Memphis and I have an on air orgasm talking about Bobby Bass. Metric tons of fun. Maybe my favorite show yet.

  14. Started by Dylan Waco,

Episode Six! Dave and I talk about why pro wrestling is better than MMA. We have a few quirks again with talkshoe but nothing as an awful as the audio on the previous show or the loss of Maritimes show (which we will redo in the near future). Lots of talk on everything from the alleged bisexuality of Tank Abbot, to Diaz brothers riots, to my obligatory Buddy Rose references and more! http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...2658&cmd=tc

  15. Started by Dylan Waco,

Dave and I did a quick HoF results show tonight. The audio quality is weak due to the last minute quirks related to talkshoe being weird but I think it was still a really interesting discussion. http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...2658&cmd=tc

We touch on all kinds of stuff, candidates that aren't on the ballot, guys who are on the ballot and maybe aren't that strong, guys who will be on the ballot and how they may fair, who we think should go in, who we think will go in, et. We plan on doing more of these in the future on a wide variety of subjects so I figure this deserves it's own thread and I got the green light from Loss so here it is. Enjoy, criticize, comment, et.~!!!

CM Punk’s monumental promo from last night’s Raw is discussed in detail. We run through Punk’s career in WWE and how they keep dropping the ball. Also, Hulk Hogan sucks discussion, why Lars isn’t a fan of Dwayne Johnson, Naylor shares a Punk/Benoit tag match story among other topics such as “Republicans”, “The Eye of the …

  23. Spent some time listening to the "Formerly Creative" interviews he's done with other former members of the writing team, and a few things stood out: - Writers spend hours upon hours of their day in meetings that 90% of the time end up being pointless. - Vince will be 100% on board with the content of a show before getting on the plane, then by the time the plane lands the show needs re written because people on the plane with him convinced him otherwise. - Apparently everyone who's ever been on the creative staff has a Michael Hayes impression. A Vince one too, but that one is usually more flattering than Hayes. - Hayes likes to sell the creative st…
