For obvious reasons, I can't go over a 60 minute match bit by bit so I'm just going to have to mention the highlights and elements of this match. Obviously most of the people involved can't really do the big epics to the quality of their early 90's six man shows anymore (especially Misawa, whom while still obviously very good, was noticeably starting to pace himself far slower) but this was VERY good, as you'd imagine. Hase being here really shakes things up in terms of interactions: he's a solid hand as well so it helps to have someone who's not as fatigued throw down with everyone else; seeing him swing Taue like he's nothing is pretty nuts, and having the guy be so da…

This doesn't have the complete build from the very start but from what's shown, there's some really solid sequences between the pair here; however this is mainly to show off Mossman's offence front and centre given he'd be moving up the rankings to the heavyweight division soon enough. Asako is able to take advantage with some quick transitions, like catching him with a inverted cradle for a near fall and then grabbing on to the leg after the kick out for a quick snappy submission, or catching his leg mid-strike weird inverted spin kick to his shins. Bam Bam Bigelow vs Spike Dudley - ECW As Good As It Gets A big step down from their Hardcore Heaven match. There are two blown spots. One is a normal whiff on a dropkick that sends Bigelow over the top rope and knee first through a table that looked painful. Anyways I can understand a whiff. But the earlier one is bizarre. Spike takes the Bret Bump hard into the buckles and ricochets back. Bam Bam just takes a front bump for no reason clutching his head. It was pretty bad. The layout was off too. ECW Arena was MOLTEN for this match. We are taking nuclear heat. They wanted a replica of Hardcore Heaven and they wanted Spike launched into the crowd. "Over here" chants a…
