This is a match list for every Benoit match that you can possably see. It's not a matchlist of every single match he's ever wrestled but rather every match I know of that at one time or another has existed on video tape. There are going to be mistakes and there are no doubt going to be omissions. If someone wants to correct something feel free to do so and if someone knows about the existence of more matches feel free to speak up. The search for new Benoit matches never ends. Also, If you have any questions or want to comment about any of the matches go right on ahead. There are about 7 or 8 Benoit matches that I've heard of but don't know enough a…

But in figuring who deserves it, from a McMahon standpoint, would be who headlined successfully. So here's the formula. We'll start with when Vince Sr. took over Madison Square Garden, which was November 1956. Since MSG was the main arena and focal point of the company, we'll award points for headlining MSG. One point for a main event, three points for a sellout. MSG shows will be considered through the spring of 1995, when the company went to monthly PPV shows. Well also consider PPVs from Wrestlemania I to the present since PPVs are so much bigger than MSG, we'll go two points for a main event and four for either a 1.0 buy rate, or after PPV hit 40 million homes, fo…

Cppy/pasted from the Observer site: David Sahadi is currently the most hated man in Stanford-based WWE Headquarters. Who is David Sahadi you ask? If you watched WWE TV programming or saw one of their commercials teasing a PPV in the last 10 years, then chances are you saw his work as the Creative Director of On-air Promotions. Mr. Sahadi currently works with TNA Wrestling is the same capacity. If you saw the teasers for the PPV?s that sent goosebumps up your arms, then you have seen his current work. This interview that will give you behind the scenes access to how WWF/WWE operated, the truth and fiction behind the infamous TNA milk and cookie delivery to the WWE dur…

Link here This is worth reading, even if I'm not quite sure how it all ties together as an article or what to say about it. I guess you could consider it a nice inside view into the psyche of a wrestler, but be forewarned that it's all over the place.

Hacked from HTQ at TSM, who I've asked to post here, but hasn't surfaced yet. This is a great read. The World Wrestling Federation needs to, now, commission a study of why they and wrestling in general are losing the over-30 audience so rapidly. This goes against the company thought process, because despite what may be said publicly, the company's target age group and strongest demo per capita is Males 12-24. However, the age group that is losing interest in wrestling the fastest is those over the age of 30, who make up the vast majority television viewership for most programs (average viewership age of most network hit shows is early 40s), and are traditionally the m…
