World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs Undertaker - Hell In A Cell 2009 Hell In A Cell After another iteration of the Montreal Screwjob in Montreal, they reprise Undertaker hijacking a limo but instead of Stephanie in the back, it is Teddy Long, "Buckle Up, Teddy". The whole Teddy Long screwing the Undertaker made no sense, but that was a good angle. Then Undertaker delivered Teddy in a casket to CM Punk to let him know that he would be defending his championship against the Undertaker in Hell In A Cell. Damn good build. These two have great chemistry together. I shouldn't be surprised I was live for their awesome WrestleMania match. I thought this was a better ver…

I'm pretty confident in calling this the greatest under two minute match of all time. I was wondering how some of these NOAH matches would hold up for me but this one absolutely did. The match start off with probably theg reatest blindsight dive of all time, you've seen the spot where one wrestler attacks the other before the match starts a thousand times, and a fair share of those have been junior dives, here KENTA is just normally walking around the ring and Marvin comes out of nowhere crushing him. His next move is getting KENTA back into the ring and John Woo Dropkicking KENTA. That's a move that looks badass by itself, but here KENTA's skull crashes into the bottom t…

TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles vs Sting - Bound for Glory 2009 The Main Event Mafia storyline has wrapped up with Sting realizing that he respects the youngsters and his contemporaries are a bunch of snake oil salesmen. AJ respects Sting too. It is a big 'ol lovefest. AJ won the title on the PPV before this in a convoluted 5 man match. Now he has to beat the Man that has been unbeatbale at BFG beating JJ, Angle and Joe for the World Title three years in a row. That is just a great piece of booking by TNA even if it is a happy accident. This match is much better than their previous effort about a year previous. The wrestle a smart, well-laid out tit-…

A really cool match structure that the crowd totatlly bought into. Walker and Takayama attack Akiyama and Kobashi at the bell and try to isolate Kobashi, double teaming him and beating on him. Takayama hits Kobashi with one of the damnest German Suplexes I've ever seen, almost beheading Kobashi which is insane considering all the wear and tear his body had had up to that point. Akiyama tries to help Kobashi get back into the match, and in one of the best spots off the match gets caught off with an awesome giant knee from Takayama while he's holding Walker in a Necklock. They build the finish around Kobashi and Walker, and once Akiyama finally fights off Takayama and holds…
