  1. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs Goldust - WWE Superstars 3/4/10 Goldust is awesome and is criminally underutilized. His punch drunk selling followed by how he sells his throat against the ropes with the choking and falling out the ring was great. Jericho also looked really damn good on top. Goldust shows good fire in his comeback. Great clothesline and powerslam. Nice dropkick by Jericho as Goldust is coming off the top. Goldust goes for the Curtain Call...Jericho counters into Walls of Jericho. Goldust crushed it in this match. ***1/4

  8. Sound quality of this was burning hot ass as per Battlarts 2.0. standards but was regardless pretty good as a match. Narita is a full on MMA guy with martial arts credentials so he knew how to sprawl and move around with authority, making for a fairly engaging series of opening exchanges as the two did some seriously nifty grappling of the time. They also threw in some great aggression with a lot of nasty shots to the head (Narita's got gloves on so he can legally throw full on punches, something he attempts to do here a fair bunch) while Keita pulled off a ton of his usual tricky Catch wrestling tricks, in particular throwing down a rough Cravat to pull his opponent down…

  9. A really good broomstick match with Bryan taking Khali's only attribute (size) and building the match around it. All it takes for Khali to get back in control is essentially just grab Bryan, while Bryan has to really work on combos and counters to manage to take Khali down. I really liked how he used the Guillotine to set up his kick combos and how he Missile Dropkicked Khali while Khali was still kneeling instead of waiting for him to get up, and his reckless bumping really put over Khali's offence as that of a monster. ***1/4

  14. I hadn't seen this since right after it hit DVDVR, so I didn't have a real memory of it beyond, "yeah, I watched that." This kinda kicks ass. There's some really nasty shots from Funaki that bust Suzuki open hardway. There's a lot of intensity here (go figure) and they manage to find a middle ground between doing a Pancrase tribute match and an 80s territory cage match. Funaki bleeds after being flung into the cage and he bleeds pretty good for a guy you wouldn't expect to be adept at blading. The strikes in this match aren't otherworldly stiff, but they lay everything in and the finish is really good. I'd need to rewatch Kono/Nagata from 2012 to figure out which of the t…

  19. Triple H vs Sheamus - WrestleMania XXVI I don't know why I have always been intrigued by this match. It was a very ho hum match with a shitty finish. Sheamus had just dropped the championship after that out of nowhere win in December of 2009. This program signaled that he would be staying in the main event. Lots of rookie vs veteran and career-making victory vs career-destroying loss on commentary. The match itself was nothing great. A little disrespect early turned into a pretty respectable match. HHH went for Pedigree early and a Figure-4 to pop the crowd. Sheamus threw into the steps. Grinds on HHH. HHH hits his usual comeback moves: High Knee, Facebuster, Spinebus…
