World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry vs Randy Orton - Hell In A Cell 2012 Hell In A Cell Not nearly as good their Night of Champions match, but few matches are. Has there been any good Hell In A Cell matches at this PPV? Since there is no bloodletting, it is kinda just a normal match with an occasional cage shot. I will say they do use the cage better than most. Orton comes out the gate home. He shoves Henry into the cage twice. He hits a massive clothesline to knock Mark Henry off his feet. This was a good shine. The big angle development since Night of Champions a scant two weeks prior was that Orton hit the RKO on Smackdown so you know it is possible. What you are…

An intense match worked with a great sense of urgency. The only disappointing thing about this was SDR's awful selling - Kana worked over her leg throughout the match, and she just completely no sold it. Other than that, this was pretty great.. BUT I gotta say that it had potential to be even better had Del Rey bothered to sell better. ***3/4

A really good mat based match with great dueling body part work. This was pretty much the Finlay show though and he was responsible for almost everything good about the match. ****

AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels - TNA Bound For Glory 2011 I Quit Very strange. Pieces of it were really great and other parts really sucked. They just couldn't decide what they wanted this to be. When the match first started, I thought I found a lost classic. Really heated and intense. Daniels telling AJ to suck his dick only for AJ to tell him to suck it and shoving the mic into his mouth wa awesome. Loved the use of the STO by Daniels as a takedown, loved AJ's tenacity with his punches and then going for submissions constantly from unique spots and really wrenching them in. Then they lost that it settled into as expected AJ face vs Daniels heel match, which can be…

9 minutes of these two grappling around sounds like a good time to me. You know how it goes. They go through a lot of positions. Then Ishikawa gets the mount and throws shoot punches. Then they do more swank grappling. Maybe hit each other really hard if they feel like it. It's good stuff I promise. You kind of forget RJPW has pinfalls but those are for wusses anyway. Ishikawa does a beautiful roll through into a grounded Cobra for the win and that's a GIF in the making. This is a weird match up to talk about for me because it seems so self-evidently good that I really have nothing to add. If you like these two you'll like this match, even if it is just a small taste of w…

This match only had one ring and was 3 on 3, so it stretches the War Games definition a bit, but it delivered in the gritty violence area. Anarchy has run a bunch of War Games matches which fits with Atlanta metro area location and the seedy violence of the arena. I loved the Stryknyn and Nemesis opening section really intense brawling with Stryknyn especially laying in some brutal stomps, Stryknyn also wins the Tommy Rich award as he is leaking all over the ring. Azrael stood out too, as he is a big guy who took some wild upside down bumps into the cage. Match didn't have too much of a story, for a while the heel team was working over Jacksons bad ankle, but Kimo slapped…
