Considering everyone talks about the MSG one, you wouldn't even know there was a second one on tape, I was surprised when I found it and wondered. could it live up to the New York one? Was Sarge going to bleed buckets again? I couldn't wait to find out. Well I guess they didn't make I LOVE PHILLY T-Shirts so Pat comes out in a red Adidas tank-top and cowboy boots. Tiny Tom vs BoBo Johnson Boesch repeats jokes as much as Johnny Sorrow does. Some more funny Boesch explanations about midgets. Fun schtick early. Tiny Tom working heel here. Loved Tom biting the fingers. In a great comedy/revenge spot Bobo bites Tom on the ass. They teased the ball shot like masters. The head post spot ruled. The corner spot again ruled the high heavens. Kozac spanking Tom was LOL funny as we can hear by Boesch laughing so hard. This was a great comedy match, mixed in with some wrestling. 3*

The comedy begins early. Loved how the heels tried the same play, but the faces had an answer. Another great fail by the heels. The crowd really eats up the comedy spots. Another fun bout. 3*

I've liked both of these guys on the footage so I'm looking forward to it. Thesz is the ref. This doesn't feel like the Spoiler. He seems shorter. It's him by looking at his nose. National Heavyweight Champion Masked Superstar vs Butch Reed - GCW TV 8/22/81 Masked Superstar as the champion is feuding with a whole lot of people like Tommy Rich, Mr. Wrestling II and Steve O. Now on TV he has young upstart Butch Reed. Really fun TV match that Superstar gives a lot to Reed. Eadie stayed true to his form he would start out as the aggressor only to have Reed overwhelm him with power and technique. Reed looked great with his crossbody, punches and arm work. Superstar took his powders only to eat a headlock. Anybody have a better headlock than Reed? Reed did some nice arm work. I liked Superstar snapmaring out of a hammerlock only to have Reed keep it …

Harley Race vs David Von Erich - St. Louis Wrestling At The Chase 8/23/81 I am no fan of Harley Race except against the Von Erich boys. There's something magical about their chemistry. I have seen terrific matches with Kerry & Kevin and now we can add David to the list. Early on in my St. Louis watch I was impressed by this matchup but I thought this was even better and this maybe the best St. Louis match we have on tape, it is definitely in my fave five. Harley Race is no longer champion having dropped the strap to Dusty Rhodes.
