  1. I was in there front row to watch this, and I am glad that on tape it came off just as great as it was live. StarBuck & Valentine are 2 of the best wrestlers in Finnish wrestling history, and their rivalry is my favorite rivalry in Finnish graps history. They have a tremendous chemistry with each other, as seen on this match. Loved the early fire of 'Buck with him just totally wanting to kick Valentine's ass because their rivalry had got personal at the last show, Valentine was fantastic as always on his role as the chickenshit heel. Loved Buck's early shine - he has some damn good looking worked punches, and Valentine is a great seller. It eventually transitioned int…

  2. Kenta Kobashi, Jun Akiyama, Keiji Mutoh & Kensuke Sasaki vs KENTA, Go Shiozaki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Maybach Taniguchi - NOAH 5/11/13 What an emotionally moving match and tour de force! I have been putting off watching this for years. I never wanted it to end, but that's how life is. There are few things that bring me as much joy than stumbling across a picture of Kobashi with a huge smile on his face on Twitter. So glad he is still on this Earth, happy and making others happy. I was crying on the entrance. So happy at the turnout and the response for The GOAT. In the freelance world of the 21st Century, I am not too surprised at the relationships forme…

  3. Just to make this crystal clear, Patricio Estrella is Patrick the Starfish and Bob Esponja is Spongebob Squarepants. Buzz Lightyear is Buzz Lightyear, yes. And this was lucha, big and broad, with mean punches and all sorts of antics. Some things are just so universal. The tecnicos controlled the primera. The rudos took over in a great way. There was a bit of miscommunication leading into the tercera and a bunch of holds and breakups before they went into the dives and a final match up. It was lucha. Some things worked. I loved how open and huge they had to be with the throws and rope running because of the suits. They were playing to the very last row of an arena, ju…

  4. Brock Lesnar vs Triple H - WWE Extreme Rules 2013 Steel Cage Match When HHH smashed Brock's injured leg while he was climbing the cage and Brock just did this awesome sell, I became fully committed to "This match is fucking awesome, why does no one talk about this?" I know these two are not exactly darlings around here or on the internet in general, but this is a damn great match. I feel like PWO is generally above preconceived notions of pro wrestlers and rate with an open mind so I dont want to assert that the reason this match is not more highly regarded is simply because of the two wrestlers in the match. Therefore, I would love to hear complaints about his …

  5. This is a cool random trios match on DDT Universe. Honda & co have the Monster Army gimmick, which I guess is Honda's the general and he does army hand signs to tell the other two what they should do. It's very like Buck Turgidson. On the other team, Ihashi is dressed like Ibushi (they have similar names, get it?!?) and does his moves to varying degrees of success. Both bits are funny. I like everyone here so I really enjoyed the match. Honda bosses his team around. Hino plays a goofy big guy pretty well and he really leans into the gimmick. This is Sasaki way before Damnation, but he's still kind of the same dude with the weird charisma. His punches are already great…
