Rob Conway has agreed to be interviewed for my still in the works, perhaps never to be seen site, prowrestlingtoday.blogspot.com. So, anyone have any questions for Rob Conway? Also, off the top of your head, does anyone have any favorite matches involving Rob Conway?

I have a short interview lined up with Matt Cross, and was just going to throw this out there if any of you had a question for him. Also, I'm probably going to link to 2 or 3 of his matches at the end of the post, so does anyone have a suggestion as to some of his better matches?

One Night Stand was the first WWE PPV I've caught since WrestleMania, and I'm about a month behind on my RAW watching. When I was watching the RVD/Orton match, my first thought was "When did Orton learn how to sell?" Was this just a one off, or is Orton actually getting better?

Simple question. This always comes up as a sidebar topic when discussing wrestlers, but I think it's a worthwhile topic in itself. Is too much emphasis placed on MOVES by most Internet wrestling fans? Discuss.

No main event! I'm amazed at WWE right now, that they expect anyone to buy this without knowing the top match. They were also advertising Orton/Cena all weekend. I saw commercials for it last night. Anyway, discuss the show here. I'm sure if Jericho returns on the show, there will be at least a short-term buzz.

This is what the tease for this week's WON is about, I guess... It will be interesting to see who takes them up on it.

This may be the wrong folder to write this in. If it is i'm sorry, move to appropriate place. I don't see a shills/requests folder. Ok so I was reading about this match in a lucha mag, where it was discussed as though the idea behind it was similar to the deal with the Dragons Gate guys in ROH, hot Japanese feud being brought into foreign land. According to the lucha article, audience was angry because they thought "Hey this is supposed to be the top matchup in Japan, why is this guy mailing it in thus disrespecting the Mexican audience"... So I think I've seen other matches from this show, but can't find the Inoki v Singh 2/3 falls match from Mexico. …

'The new CFO of WWE, Michael Selick, revealed in Financial Week that the company is exploring the possibility of establishing separate WWE promotions running full-time in separate international markets. If everything went ahead it would go so far as to include separate TV tapings and storylines for each region, turning WWE from an overseas novelty into a local promotion. Things are still in the preliminary stages but Vince McMahon has discussed it in detail with Stephanie, John Laurinaitis and others in the inner circle. The territories mentioned include a 'Pacific' region covering Japan, South Korea, China and Australia, a 'Hispanic' territory for Puerto Rico, Mexic…

I was just looking at the new Entertainment Weekly's list of things to watch and was thinking that I will be taking up my both channels on my TIVO just about every night recording either new shows or new episodes of shows that I already know I like. That being the case, it looks like if I watch any wrestling it MIGHT be SMACKDOWN and that's about it. Just wondering if anyone else had thought about this, and how bad do they think RAW ratings might be this year. Keep in mind Monday Night Football is also always a threat to them this time of year.

Marty PM'ed me asking me to sell him on this match (feels like Classics now). I wrote a review at DVDVR but I am not searching for it so here is an overview. The match aired is 11:14 (with a commercial break chopping 1-4 minutes off). If Big Show loses, he leaves. Eddy is not defending the title. This match is to soften Eddy up. This is a lot different than Eddy/JBL as Show controls 80% of the match, where as JBL only controlled about 40% of their Judgement Day match (and even less if you consider that Eddy was so on top of his game that night). The first theme of the match is Big Show using headbutts to give the match an over arching theme. He…

USA is about to launch its HD channel, sometime in the next month or two it should appear in your channel lineup. WWE has supposedly been testing HD for a while now, so you'd think they'd be ready to go at launch. Now would WWE launch RAW alone in HD, or wait to launch all their shows at once? The CW network is somewhat hamstrung when it comes to HD as a lot of their affiliates are smaller power stations that may not have the ability to go to HD in the near future. WWE's also not had any of their PPVs in HD either, something the UFC's been offering for a while now.

http://ir.shareholder.com/wwe/EdgarDetail....5&SID=07-00 http://prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/...f/mania.html#23 (Numbers via the WON) Has WWE misstepped by lying in the report? Or does it not really matter since the dollar amount is correct?

The angle with Cena/Orton/Cena Sr. was a straight up old school babyface heat gainer for Cena but the crowd was still overwhelmingly pro Orton. That's got to either be overestimated on Dave's part or proof that people are booing Cena for the sake of booing him. You'd think Memphis fans of all places would have ate that up. Why put Taker in with Henry for his return match? You know you aren't going to get a ***** match from a guy coming back from injury, why put him in a match that is guaranteed to suck?

I was reading the thread over at DVDVR and it occurred to me: Is there anything that exemplifies pro wrestling more than having arguably the greatest in-ring performer of all time go from getting one last hurrah to being pushed aside to the point of him apparently quitting out of frustration. Not to mention having HHH, who's supposed to be the biggest Flair mark ever, play a role by saying having Flair go over people at his age would be a "credibility issue". As if that was the biggest thing to strain the company credibility right now. I mean, it's not like wrestling has the advantage of being worked so that they can script almost anything to plausible degree. I me…

Ok, so I reckon this is a pretty open field at the moment, and I'd be interested to hear what people think about this, and why. Here's my list, keep in mind that I've only seen about 5 hours of 2007 footage, but from what I've seen, as well as the stuff I've watched the last couple of years, these are my top 5... 1. Randy Orton Just a fantastic heel. he has all the mannerisms, great old school offence, not the greatest interview but does his job and pisses the crowd of. The RKO has been built really fucking well, out of nowhere and ends pretty much every match. Should probably take the title at Summerslam, leading to a WM24 chase for Cena. 2. Necro Butcher…
