After being on the fence for a while, I decided to submit a ballot for this year's GME project. There's a good chance I'll be the only vote for at least half of these matches, but hopefully it'll help some people discover something new. I've seen it said (around here and other places) that the greatest calendar year ever by a worker was Billy Robinson from December 1975 to December 1976. Its truly a great run- multiple world title matches in Florida vs Funk, multiple NWA Florida championship matches against Brisco, a 5 month reign as Southern Champion, and time limit draws in Japan against Jumbo, Inoki, and Dick Murdoch, and a GME candidate vs Baba. So my question for discussion is this, what wrestler(s) would you consider to have had the greatest year in wrestling?

I know some of the vets here have more knowledge regarding the Eatons, Mortons, and Gibsons(es?) of the world, but at least in this century, is Cesaro the best tag worker in the world? The volume of his work with the likes of Chris Hero, Tyson Kidd, Sheamus, and even Nakamura is staggering. How does he fair, historically speaking?

Hi, I took the two Wrestling Observer obituary books with me on holiday last week and it reminded me how much I prefer his writing on those subjects. I'm interested in finding more like that from the last 10 years or so. Is there an index available on topics covered in each Observer anywhere? Was wondering if any one had any information on the show loop Watts used in 83,84 and 85. Also was wondering what was his biggest towns. Some said New Orleans but from the info I have found, New Orleans looked dead as it draw just over a thousand people. Also when did Watts do his TV taping. Any other info would be helpful!

Been watching a lot of wrestling during the pandemic and don't remember anyone coming up with a "best trios match in lucha" nonetheless a list of the top 10 trios matches of all time. So this got posted on YouTube yesterday, and it's the first time I ever got to see it after decades of hearing about it. From what I can tell, Kitao seems mad at something (some old sumo beef? Tenta coming in as a bigger star in his home turf?) and just decides to stop cooperating. Tenta can be clearly heard yelling at him variations of "what the fuck", but the funny part is no one is going to take him down if he doesn't want to be taken down so he just stuffs him. I've been thinking the past few months, who is the greatest worker of the 2000s so far? As much as we like to gripe about modern wrestling, there have been some fabulous workers so far this century. I would assume Daniel Bryan would be the run away pick. But there's also LA Park, AJ Styles, Jun Akiyama, Rey Mysterio, etc, etc, the list goes on and on. So who's your pick?
