A music video for this match got uploaded on youtube a couple of days after it happened and I commented on the video asking them to release it in full. Seven plus years later it shows up!! Devil's Reject's Wargames are some of the coolest stuff that happened this century, and hardly anyone has seen them. This isn't at the level of the all time classics in 2006 and 2007 (and Tank was the only constant besides Rev. Dan Wilson) , but it wasn't a huge step below. The Alexander and Drew Delight opening five minutes is awesome, heated brawling, great punches and and some big cage bumps. Tank comes in and starts carving, and there is a nasty spot where Ben Thrasher gets the spik…

Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy - TNA Victory Road 2012 For the record, Angle is a heel because his son is a big Jeff Hardy fan & Kurt doesn't approve of his lifestyle. This is Jeff Harry's redemption tour after the previous years debacle against Sting. Pretty basic match. Angle is a heel and gets outwrestled. I get the psychology but don't agree with it. Angle uses a hard elbow & eyerake to control. Hardy keeps him off balance with head scissors and baseball slide. Transition suck as expected. Only good one is Hardy going into railing hard leads to a short, tepid heat segment. The finish run is just them blending their spots together. Each one hits a spot, mi…

AJPW Triple Crown Champion Jun Akiyama vs Keiji Mutoh - AJPW 3/20/12 One of those dream matches that happened ten years too late, but I do recall them having an all-star dream tag match under the NJPW banner in like 2002. For two men in their 40s, this is pretty baller. It is two seasoned pros and just going out there and have a really great match because they understand the fundamentals & their limitations (this is only 18 minutes). They do an ode to King's Road by starting red hot Akiyama hits a Sliding Knee and a Exploder early. Looks like the rout is on. They even do the apron tease spot that was famous in late 90s All Japan. Predictably, Mutoh Dr…
