  2. One of Naruse's most dominant performances thus far, with Yamamoto again playing the wily challenger, trying to grab whatever he can, however he can. The strike exchanges get pretty wild at times, but Naruse doesn't seem in danger of losing the match, and stays in control of the unpredictable situation in Yamamoto, finally tapping him with some sort of arm hold. Easily overshadowed by the main event but still a fun watch.

  3. From an epsiode of Shotgun taped in deepest darkest Texas, the WWF throw us a C-Show classic as Texas takes on Tennessee in a six man. If I can call this match one thing, it's just fun. They aren't reinventing the wheel, they aren't doing anything out of the ordinary, but it's possibly the best sub-10 minute match I've seen. Everything hits. From the call backs to Funk vs Lawler, to Dustin Runnels playing firey babyface instead of the religous heel he was on TV, to Too Much stooging everywhere, and Bradshaw looking probably the most badass he ever has as Too Much fly around for him. Everything works. A fantastic bout. Massively recommended

Casey dispatches of Teioh and assists Papi with a wild topé over the ropes. The action remains frantic, but it’s Kaientai’s stooging that puts everything over the top, with both constantly colliding with one another due to miscommunication. Casey gets a brief chance to shine, stacking Teioh and Funaki up in the corner and hitting a monkey flip. Eventually, the Kaientai duo rallies and dumps Casey on his h…
