I'm starting to get into this, after having watched the Heroes of World Class doc and WWE's own program on them (which is actually very good). I'm cherry-picking at the moment, started out with the match from early '84 between Ric Flair and Chris Adams, which is quite good. A few questions; how far back does WWE's footage go? It starts in '82 but I got the impression from the Heroes doc that they were on television much further back from that. And given that they just recently put up a "Star Wars" show from 1982 in the Hidden Gems section, is there stuff they have from World Class that possibly wasn't broadcast (at least in it's entirety) on television?

This week's edition of Raw and Smackdown sound like can't miss TV. Finally getting Roman as the champ, Ronda getting her victory lap, Becky addressing her turning on Charlotte, Miz gloating, Seth's the champ again... Great times are coming, lads.

They tried to hide it as best they can without running afoul of financial rules, and there's likely other things stuffed in that category as well, but it appears they got over $40 million for the show. Now that could be the lump sum for the year or just the amount they got for the Greatest Rumble, but either way it's pretty clear why WWE was so eager to sell the women down the river. From the Observer site's synopsis of the Q2 report that dropped today:

The main roster has been hot garbage this year and it's actually making me question for the first time the effort out out from almost every wrestler in the roster. Its not enjoyable anymore, I have stopped watching the TV and if Summerslam isn't presentable by my standards I will cherry pick this company in the future. I feel the roster is as much to blame for this PPV rut as the creative and the production at this point. As talented as this roster is, other rosters of past era's made gold out of chickenshit and I am questioning almost every guy on the roster's motivation inside the ring because the product they're outputting isn't good. It may be the fact that…

I attended RAW live tonight. I Will attend Smackdown tomorrow. RAW at 3 hours is fucking interminable. How do people watch it live? I watch it in an hour with DVR. Roman/Lashley ruled! Great pull apart brawl! Dive was sick. Womens Tag was good. Nia Jax's hot Tag BANGED! That was good. Then it was two hours of Suck. Drew vs Dolph was a solid mid tempo match with a strong heat segment that built to a hot finish. Roman/Lashley, Nia Jax hot Tag, Dolph promo and Drew/Seth. You have a great show! but two hours of snooze fest is unacceptable. Asuka/Ellsworth is gonna bang so hard tomorrow! So excited!

So Lesnar showed up last night in the UFC and challenged Cormier. It looks like the fight is going to happen in November/December/January. Does WWE get the belt off of Lesnar at Summerslam? Leaving the belt on Lesnar as he heads into a fight where he's a 5 to 2 underdog (and those odds seem way too close) and will be subject to random drug tests for 4 months sounds like a horrible idea.

http://www.wrestlingdvdnetwork.com/next-for-2017-wwe-unseen-matches-dvd-collection/134396/ This is due to come out in the summer and will be hosted by Sean Mooney. What can we realistically expect from this? Will the mythical Bret Hart vs Tom Magee match finally surface? Looks like it will cover 1986-1995

Iran got massively fucked by Portugal today. Referee was siding with the heels much like those old farts from lucha libre do. Morroco went out swinging against Spain much like Jeff did against Undertaker. Anyways: Heyman teasing some awful shit on Twitter. Brock as champ is fucking tiresome. Probably has dirt on Vince or something.
