I heard there was a title change last night

About an hour ago on twitter. According to his sources. This is pretty big if true. Dave also alluded to this on WOR yesterday. Hopefully this means they've dropped the Shane program for Brock.

Just gonna start this now while I'm on since people have had so much trouble starting the new weekly thread lately. I'm expecting HHH will be on Raw tonight with the video that WWE posted of a happy Steph getting in a limo with him after the PPV.

I just caught Raw and had a few thoughts: When Bayley and Sasha go into their cute little backstage segments/wwe.com exclusive interviews with their friendship and playful bickering and secret handshakes a huge part of me wants them to just start making out and get it over with. Of course, the other huge part of me sees that Sasha is going to turn on Bayley and kick her fucking head in sooner rather than later, and that is also an acceptable development. Didn't see a thread for this week, so here you go. Raw was okay this week, main event match/angle was really great IMO. Has the evil foreign menace ever got such a huge pop for beating up the supposed babyface like Rusev got? I keep going back and forth between feeling bad for Roman and feeling schadenfreude for WWE. He deserves a better fate but the company was so stubborn it's hard to not just say they fucking deserve to have this blow up in their faces. Also Rusev is the greatest.

So Backlash is tonight, the first SD only PPV of the new brand split era. Kick-off show is underway. Lot's of big matches on this show although only four of them really interest me; Lesnar vs Orton, Cena vs Styles, Reigns vs Rusev and Charlotte vs Sasha. However, at least some of the results seem unpredictable. Hoping that the 6 hours doesn't drive anyone to insanity....

Daniel Bryan was pulled from upcoming "Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night" house show appearances and the UK tour after Mania. But the real red flag, IMO, was when he backed out of WrestleMania Fan Axxess. Brie was off the shows this week too. WWE's statement was something along the lines of: "Bryan requested time off and it was granted." I'm speculating, obviously, but there seems to be more than meets the eye here. I really hope there isn't any worse news about Bryan medically. That's my main worry. I hope not, but I wonder if Bryan is trying to get out of his WWE deal to work indies again. I just watched Ambrose v Owens and I dont get Ambrose at all. His execution is sloppy, he looks weak and is not a good promo guy. Am I missing something in his performance or character?

I'm not sure if this deserve its own thread, but I am curious what other followers of the current WWE product feel about Roman Reigns after this week's shows. I found it to be a very interesting two nights. At Battleground, Reigns got pinned by Ambrose clean, but even before that, one of the big stories of the match seemed to be that Ambrose and Rollins were almost actively serving as avatars for the "smart fans," at certain points teaming up (despite their years-long, bitter rivalry) to "bury him" via a powerbomb into an announce table.
