First Darren Young wins a battle royal by taking a long ass time to get up as the last two guys eliminate each other to secure himself an Intercontinental Title shot, then Zack Ryder does a clean job to Sheamus, and gets beat up by Rusev to earn himself a U.S. Title shot. Way to make those secondary titles look important going into the brand split.

I have made it clear, over my time here, as to why I do not like the concept MITB nor the matches. However, the build to the matches is now becoming the worse offender. Just like with all WWE gimmick PPVs, when those PPVs are right-around-the-corner, wrestlers feel its time incorporate the gimmicks in their everyday lives. Guys like Kevin Owens who has no reason to constantly pull out ladders and wasn't before is all of a sudden, in a very un-natural and contrived way, doing exactly that. The reason? MITB is around the corner and the prop has to be showcased. Because if not then it will be easy for the people to forget that MITB is happening and that these guys are in MIT…

After watching Reigns/Styles at Payback, I saw an instant classic. Immediately bought tickets for this show in Newark. This morning rewatched match and I not only think it is Five Fucking Stars but the best match in 12 years. I'm so excited for the rematch. I just can't hide it! I'm about to lose control! What a way to start off the week! Styles jobbing two nights in a row and disassociating himself from "The Club", Apollo Crews getting attacked by Sheamus and then jobbing out to Jericho of all people, Dolph Ziggler trying to convince the world that he is a shoot wrestler, and of course the Seth Rollins promo to start the show. This week hasn't started off too good.

I was thinking about this and here's what I came up with: - Brock Lesnar rematch - Returning Seth Rollins - Dean Ambrose after an Ambrose turn - John Cena This makes it clear there is zero reason for him to go dropping the title at any point in the foreseeable future. He's half of the four biggest matches they can do at this point. Are there any I'm missing? I think there are others they could build up to be at that level, but those matches are mostly ready to be taken off the shelf and delivered at a moment's notice.

That Nattie/Charlotte stuff would have died a terrible death in any other city. Natalie was terrible (as usual) on the mic and I am not sure why she/WWE haven't realized that Nattie works better in soundbytes. Glad to see The Clockwork Orange House of Fun match make it to WWE and with an added budget. Should be fun. While Maryse in theory works well, her delivery of the scripted lines is just terrible. The concept is good and the elements involved is money, but the delivery is falling a too flat for my liking. I was never a Maryse fan in the first place, but this second run is becoming more and more 'meh'. Hopefully its just 'rust' and she finds her way, because again...its money...but something isn't clicking at the moment.
