OK, so the announcers are doing a pretty decent job of explaining why Anderson and Gallows are a big deal. However, I am not feeling this match vs. The Usos.

  3. After watching the RR last night I started thinking about WCWs failed attempts with Hogan prior to the NWO, right down to returning from injury midmatch to thrash everyone and comparing him to todays Reigns reaction. Granted a difference between stale act and probably what could best be described as indifference but there does seem to be similarities.

Pretty hyped for this show. Card looks solid top to bottom. Lots of possible amazing matches tonight. Could be the end of an era with Balor, Bayley and Zayn all departing after this one. I really hope that Bayley sticks around as I dread her being put on the road to nowhere on the main roster, although the women's division has been slowly turning around and maybe her arrival will put things over the top. Balor vs Joe Bayley vs Asuka Nakamura vs Zayn American Alpha vs The Revival Corbin vs Aries The Drifter vs Crews

This isn't necessarily a "Let's book WM32," but looking at the entire roster on the website, I am hard pressed to come up with any matches that would excite me. Here's what they have to work with: INJURED - OUT OF WM Cesaro Randy Orton Sting Tyson Kidd Seth Rollins Daniel Bryan ATTITUDE ERA GUYS Rock - Think he's booked in Hollywood during this time. HHH Undertaker Chris Jericho TOP GUYS Sheamus Alberto del Rio Rusev King Barrett John Cena Brock Lesnar Roman Reigns Dean Ambrose Kevin Owens SECOND TIER Big Show Dolph Ziggler Jack Swagger Kane Mark Henry The Miz Neville Ryback Stardust Tyler Breeze Goldust R-Truth TAG TEAMS Prime Time Players Los Mata…

Since it's the go home show for Mania, I'm watching Raw for the first time since after the Royal Rumble. I missed the opening segment, which sounded like it got over big with the live audience. Pretty much everything I've seen though has just served to remind me why I only watch the big shows and NXT. Just a mix of mostly not over talent, beyond horrible commentary, and boring programs. There is top notch talent here, but it often gets lost in a sea of banality. Crowd is definitely hot for Sami and Owens

Heard sensible theories from both sides of this argument and now feels like the pivotal point in choosing a side and seeing where the trajectory of Reigns plays out.

  10. Started by fakeplastictrees,

    - Reigns made his return in an arena full ghosts - Neville is potentially hurt - Jackie has officially been announced as being in the Hall Of Fame - HHH and Ziggler had a match that had so many meta-IWC elements to it, that I believe this match was done to purely get Ziggler less over. We are less than 20 days from WM and WWE has done everything in its power to make this even so underwhelming. We have covered the top four matches, so I won't discuss that at this time, but let's take a look at the rest of the Mania card that includes the big announcement tonight of Usos vs. Duds. WM 32 under-card: The Dudley Boys vs. The Usos The League of Natio…

Live from Toronto for a special event for the first time since 2006. I'll be there live with Musgrave! The card looks pretty fun: HHH vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE title Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt New Day vs Sheamus & King Barrett for the tag team title Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady for the NXT tag titles Charlotte vs. Natayla for the divas title Also scheduled for the show are Sheamus, Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn.

  15. I know there's already some discussion in the weekly show thread, but this really deserves its own thread. It's a major development, hugely shocking, and it takes Mania in a completely unexpected direction. That's assuming, of course, that the Taker match actually happens - but even if it doesn't, this return still has some longstanding ramifications.

This might be insane, but WWE now is more obsessed with history and records in its kayfabe than at any time I can recall. Cena is on 15 titles. Obviously, Flair is on 16. I think it's the sort of weird thing they really care about now. Flair's retirement deal has been made a big thing in WWE lore. Flair as a legend in general has become part of its canon version of history, ratified forever with the "I Love You" from WWE Canon History Golden Boy HBK. Cena equalling Flair's record can't be a small thing. If, that is, they ever let it happen. Cena is currently: 15 x World Champ 4 x US Champ 4 x Tag Champ 23 major titles WWE recognises. …

Pretty psyched for tonight's show, largely because I'm going with a bunch of buddies coming in from Columbus. I think the hanging out/pre- and post-show conversations will be light years funner than the actual event, but when is that not the case when you're with friends? Back on topic - as much as some have been talking about how lame this show is going to be, I still think I'm getting my money's worth (especially compared to WrestleMania, which is way more pricey and currently seems like its going to be a 4-hour death march headlined by a Triple H "epic"). I think tonight's main event will deliver. I loved the Lesnar/Cena/Rollins Triple Threat from last year's R…

The idea behind this post is you're given the book for the Diva's division. You can move your talent roster of women around anyway you want and create any angles that you want with creative control. The following conditions are in place for your booking. 1. You have to use the women that are currently signed to the WWE. You can use Kana and you can bring Sara Del Ray into an inring role. But you can't hire anyone for the sake of this post. 2. Bayley can't be brought up until after Wrestlemania. For the sake of this post she's getting a 6-8 month run with the NXT Women's Championship. 3. You can send down people to NXT except for the Bellas. You have to keep th…
