So yeah, Derek is way too busy and can't book AJPW. If somebody wants to take over AJPW, then they are very free to do so. If they don't, I have no problem with a dispersal draft and UWFi and maybe FMW (maybe) moving up a tier to fill the void. Somebody want to take them over, we'll give it some time, if not we will go to plan B.

We have some news from the new Revolution Pro Wrestling promotion that will be opening in Los Angeles, California with their first show at the Los Angeles Convention Center on September 11th. This news comes from Ian Rotten, the promotion's owner and former ECW star, who called into a local radio station. He claimed he left ECW because Paul Heyman was a cheap piece of shit who wasn't giving him his proper money. That was not the only problem, as he was pissed at ECW abandoning the hardcore revolution to bring in luchadores and technical wrestlers. "Those folks are fine in moderation, but where are the barbed-wire matches? Where is the blood and guts. ECW is quickl…

August 24th, 1995 It was a very exciting day for staff members of NJPW as Antonio Inoki announced the September 2nd card in Osaka, Japan, which will mark the return of Hulk Hogan to New Japan Pro Wrestling. We already know that Hogan has been entered in the G1 Climax tournament and that he'll be part of Block B. In Osaka on September 2, fans will have a little preview of the G1 Climax as Hogan will take on Yuji Nagata, also part of Block B, in the main event of the show. Both Hogan and Nagata were present at the press conference and Hogan didn't lie that despite all his experience, he felt a bit nervous for his NJPW return. "Yeah, man, if I told anyone that I wasn…

That's what you deserve, and that's exactly what you will get. This upcoming Saturday, September 2nd, at the ECW Arena in beautiful downtown South Philly. We're going to kick things off with a match to award our vacant ECW World Tag Team Titles, as one half of the former champions, Raven, will face Tommy Dreamer in a Dream Partners match! The situation is dire! USWA, the once proud wrestling promotion is dying. The Monday Night Wars between the WWF and WCW have taken the life out of the Memphis wrestling scene. The day that was once owned by the Mid-South Coliseum now has two mega-companies giving pay per view quality like shows away for free on cable. The attendance at the weekly show in the Coliseum has dwindled from a once staggering number of almost 10,000 a week to barely 600 or 700 hundred. The situation is so bad that the UWA superstar, Jerry “The King” Lawler has signed on with the WWF to be a part time wrestler/announcer on their MONDAY show. How can the USWA survive the Monday night wars wit…

Rules - The Initial Draft Here is my ideas for rules. I am completely up for modifying and improving them, but this can set a basis. Start Date: September 1, 1995 (September 1, 2016) Following the 1995 calendar, but post on the 2016 calendar. Pre-Draft: 1) You keep the owner and the announcers and other equivalent staff. 2) You get to keep three pieces of talent from the 1995 roster (4 pieces of talent for Tier A promotions). Tiers: 1) Promotions will be treated in blocks, by tiers Tier A: WWF, WCW, AJPW, NJPW Tier B: ECW, FMW, UWFi Tier C: SMW, USWA, M-Pro, Tier D: ECWA, RevPro The Draft: 1) Round …

I figured would could go here for any talk on the draft. Love the tiered system and love the tiered draft availability. New Japan has some serious options there at number one... Could Hogan return to New Japan? Could they steal Hansen from All Japan? Could he go after some highly sought after Japanese talent? How about WWF? Who will they look to pick up from the scraps from WCW? Will Savage return to the WWF like he was always rumored to do? Could Steve Austin make that immediate jump before the time is right? How about All Japan? With its rich history of Gaijin workers, how will the cap let them fare? Do they go straight for the Americans or do they try t…

Here we are! Rules to keep in mind: 1) You only draft 5 talent that was not born in the country of the promotion you control. 2) Roster Size (Includes anyone draft-able ie managers) Tier A: 22-44 Tier B: 18-28 Tier C: 16-26 Tier D: 14-24 3) Once a pick is made, the person on the clock has 10 hours to pick. if they miss their 10 hours then the next person can pick and the person who missed their pick can insert their pick ASAP.. 4) If you pick a tag team you forfeit your next pick. Although, feel free to pick only one member of a tag team. Here is the drafting order: R1 1 NJPW: Hulk Hogan 2 WWF: Steve Austin 3 AJPW: Jun Akiyama 4 WCW: Bret Hart R…

The previous booker of the WWF in this game is not going to be involved in it anymore. Which means the WWF has nobody in control. This complicates matters. If anybody wants to abandon their US promotion to move up to the WWF, they can. Otherwise I can keep WWF afloat until somebody comes along to control them. The Booker T and Vampiro picks are voided and will be redone by myself or until somebody takes over.
