I am in shock. A truly great Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt match. I literally had Hashimoto vs Fujiwara running once I saw this was coming on. The last two (remember they had one in Boston RAW) were so bland. I'm a mark for a heel beatdown before a match. Then something Happened that I have never seen true, red hot fire from Balor! His selling was great, a great shine and the hope spots were well-timed and rousing. I have no problem with Bray the worker (the character is the drizzling shits). Bray looked awesome kicking ass in this match. The clothesline and suplex slams were awesome! Balors dropkicks to the finish were hot. Shockingly great match between two usually very ster…

This was a weird match. The beginning was worth like they were building a proper match with a narrative and proper control segments, with Reigns just dominating Cena, working at a slower pace while Cena was too focused on playing to the crowd and got cut off over and over again. Eventually it just turned into a WWE workrate wankfest, as predictable as ever. If you’ve seen Cena matches like this before you could basically call half the spots, the Diving Legdrop into the Powerbomb, the Five Knuckle Shuffle cut-off followed by a proper one later in the match where Cena does a Fist Drop straight away instead of running the ropes and a billion finishers. Well I certainly wasn't expecting a match of this kind & quality from AR Fox & Shane Strickland! Goddamn, what an awesome grudge battle! They told a great story, the athleticism was great as expected from the two, the brutality was off the charts & the big spots came off as legitimate "holy shit" spots. Absolutely amazing stuff. As of now I think it's my pick for the best match in Lucha Underground's young history. A hell of a war, indeed! ****1/2

TOKYO Princess of Princess Championship: Reika Saiki © vs. Mizuki This started off rough, but they found their rhythm quickly. I was impressed with the pacing; the comebacks were timed well, and the submission sequences were very compelling. There's a dramatic moment where Itoh Maki motivates Mizuki at ringside -- it's fucking amazing. Itoh has such a strong presence and it heightens the intensity of the match. Great main event! ****1/4
