Short and violent. This is about Nomura showing off what Suzuki has taught him about being a real tough man in the world of Big Japan. Suzuki has a fun little leglock sequence with Sato and throws a couple of suplexes but this was mostly Nomura pissing off Sato. He immediately comes into this match kicking and smacks Sato hard across the face -- of course, Sato dishes everything back twice as hard but Nomura doesn't back down. He's able to work the mat a little with Hashimoto and looks good doing it, but he'll still throw the slaps when he can. He and Kazuki proceed to stiff each other with kicks until Nomura stops it with a nasty headbutt. Suzuki lets him finish it out a…

DDT Extreme Title Best Two Out Of Three Falls Hardcore Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) vs Yuko Miyamoto First Fall: Great starting out point with Yuko Miyamoto dominating proccedings, making great use of the ladder at the start to gain the advantage, using it to attack the fingers, in which he'd then rip on them afterwards and backdropping Sasaki on his hip. Sasaki used the chairs to get some of the momentum back and hit some of his big moves and get the La Mistica Cross Facelock for the win Second Fall: Miyamoto went right back to the ladders to again get the advantage and hit some of that sick offence like his moonsault knees into the stomach. Sasaki tries so…

HeadCheese picked this match from the DDT/BJW New Year's Eve show for the Secret Santo project. A couple of pre-match notes. First, Takuma and Yoshino are a tag team known as the Dino Stones. Takuma has a dinosaur tail on his singlet and Yoshino comes to the ring wearing a Fred Flintstone tunic. They also come armed with prehistoric weaponry, Takuma with a bone and Yoshino with a club. Second, Togo is accompanied by a diminutive fellow with a Hitler mustache. We begin by Takagi demanding that the referee check Yoshino's afro for international objects. The first few minutes are fairly nondescript until Takagi and Takuma square off, leading to the greatest spot in wrest…

This was one heck of a sprint between four promising young workers. Both of the Beginning Pro girls looked really good. Anou has a simple moveset but she uses it in an incredibly effective manner making everything she does count. This was the first time I've really watched Honma and I was impressed how solid she was overall, especially in mixing shoot style submissions. Maika Ozaki looked great here, as she has in her last few matches. She's turned into cool power wrestler with an explosive moveset. A super fun ten minute match. ***3/4
