Smackdown's storylines
I was really enjoying Benoit vs Booker with the storyline and all but than they ruint it. I mean this is a Benoit vs Booker T best of 7, not a Benoit vs Booker or Orton best of 7. I'm still trying to figure out how Benoit can wrestle Orton in a series that is Benoit vs Booker. That's one of the most nonsensical things I've ever seen in the WWF which I must say covers a lot of ground. So even if Benoit comes back and wins the series, what has he done? He's still lost to Booker 3 matches to two. All the spirit and the magic of the series has been effectively wiped out now. The WWE can't do anything right. And even in the matches with Orton he only beat him by DQ. 1 nonsensible DQ and I imagine another one coming up on this week's show. Benoit would've been king coming out of this series. Now a lot of his heat he could've had is going down the drain.

How DARE he?
I actually agree with what was done here. You can't let the rookies get a bid head. They've got to know their place and if they don't things like this can possibly grow and grow and than you got a problem. Getting kicked out of the lockerroom is taking it too far in my book but there's no way a rookie should be moving Teddy Long's belongings. That's disrespectful

Wrestling books that you own/have read
Maybe the best part about DK's book were his pranks. Some of them were twisted and sick but some of them were just hilarious. That reminds me I can't wait for Bret Hart's book. The stories he could write about.

A Wellington article from not that long ago
Wellington may sound bitter here but in actuality from what I've seen and heard a lot of this is true. Even when Wellington was tag champs with Benoit he played second fiddle to the Benoit/Davey Boy vs Dynamite Kid/Johnny Smith feud. Bruce Hart was the HHH of the Stampede ring at the time except he wasn't nearly as detrimental to the league. He had limits and I respected that. I thought Stampede always treated Benoit well though. For the most part he was protected. Against the heavyweights he did okay to well right up to 88 and against the lightheavyweights he was very protected. Once 89 hit around and Dynamite came into the territory Benoit wasn't even losing cleanly against any of the heavys. Plus you add on the fact that the lightheavies were as strong as I've ever seen in a wrestling league that featured heavyweights and juniors. It was no accident if you happen to see a junior match headline a TV show and the announcers would even slight the heavys at times and talk about how the juniors feature more action. Imagine that. "While the heavys can be slow/not fast....the juniors are faster/very strong and have more action/moves in their matches." I know I've heard that from both Ed Whalen and Jim Davies. So yeah, Benoit was treated well in Stampede. Overall, with the exception of a small period in 88 I would say Stampede treated him the best overall of any organization. Well, maybe not the UWA since I suppose they did give him the title seemingly right away. Oh man, I'm kind of getting off track here. Wellington like I said before though was not treated as well except for a period in 88. Like with Smith in All Japan it can be of benifit to have obviously talented superstars job to guys higher up in the card but they went too far with Wellington. Wellington did have one good stretch in 88 with Johnny Smith though that produced some really good stuff especially their hair vs hair bout. I don't know the actual result of their blowoff match but even without knowing that (and I know Smith would've had a great match with him) it's good to know that he had one really good run complete with some great matches. Any even though westren Canada was not All Japan post 90 it was good to know that he did well there afterwards. Remembering now, I think that was the first time I'd ever seen him and I was thinking this guy's got some talent. Could he have made it as far as Benoit did? That's a good question. I think he could've but Benoit did have him slighty beat in several categories though Wellington on his better nights was right up there with Benoit at the time. He did have the heart for it. This reminds me that I wish Ben Basserb kept on wrestling too.

PWI Memories
That's why I used to read that magazine because I know sometimes they would just tell the truth and that was something I needed in those days when we didn't have the internet. But than again that really made some of their articles difficult to figure out especially when the truth got mixed up with kayfabe.
