  1. The Packers were SO CLOSE too. What a heartbreaker. And I agree. As a middle aged man I shouldn’t even know who Taylor Swift is. Get her off my TV.
  2. If it ends up being KC vs. San Fran in the Super Bowl, I may openly weep. Next to the damn Cowboys, they are literally my two least favourite teams in the entire league.
  3. True, but on the other hand they have finally figured out how to use Nakamura properly and are making him intriguing. I would argue that the promos and vignettes he has done during this latest heel turn have been by far the best work he has done since he came to WWE. For once he actually seems motivated. I really don’t think the timing of that is a coincidence. I think he figured out early on that Vince McMahon did not know how to use him, so he just decided to sit back and collect a paycheck. Now they are actually giving him the ball a bit more. But after back to back losses in big feuds, first, with Rollins now with Rhodes, they do need to give him some big wins if he is to be taken seriously.
  4. The important thing we need to focus on is the Eagles beating the Bucs tonight. Oh, and condolences to Good Bubba @sek69 with the Steelers going down to Buffalo in the Snowbowl.
  5. Let’s not forget that one of the main reasons Reigns works a limited schedule is due to his health and medical history. The guy has beaten Leukemia twice. He had to stay home during the pandemic due to his history. He’s always going to run the risk of being immunocompromised. This is not a guy you want to run into the ground with a heavy schedule. It makes perfect use to use him sparingly.
  6. The show just got picked up for a fifth season. As many have asked, I wonder if Jericho will narrate the inevitable episode they do about him?
  7. There were two on the last PPV and two tonight, and there have been plenty of others. Especially on Rampage. One in particular that I remember being particularly stupid was when he teamed FTR up with The Young Bucks against Bullet Club Gold.
  8. Also considering how much he manages to get his roided up ass on TV, Brian Cage must have compromising photos of TK or something.
  9. Find someone in life who loves you as much as Tony Khan loves booking pointless 8 Man Tag Team Matches.
  10. If that’s real somebody better put rovert on suicide watch.
  11. She’s a real class act, taking shots at the guy on Social Media by claiming she couldn’t talk to him because he has CTE. I can’t stand the guy, and I have little doubt that he probably does have CTE, but how about keeping your private life private, FFS? They have kids. There’s no need to put that kind of shit out there, that’s just a garbage thing to do.
  12. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
Well…at least it wasn’t Jungle Boy.
  13. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
I liked the match, but the angle at the end came across as a weak WWE ripoff.

Holy crap. Copeland vs. Cage was pretty damn good, IMO.
  15. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
That’s a nasty looking contusion over Copeland’s eye.
  16. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
LOL at the fans booing Jericho. This could be a big problem for AEW if this story snowballs any further.
  17. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
When is Tony Khan going to clue into the fact that the fans don’t want to boo Swerve?
  18. The Thread Killer replied to El-P's topic in AEW
    Vlad is there!
  19. If Jim Breaks killed his girlfriend after he had been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease, I really don’t think he can be held responsible. Verne Gagne killed another resident in his nursing home after he had been diagnosed, and nobody holds that against his legacy. I know Breaks was declared unfit to stand trial due to his condition and spent his final years in a confined hospital unit for dementia patients but I don’t know if he was suffering from the condition when the killing occurred.
  20. So…that Main Event. In the immortal words of the Canadian philosopher Shoresy…
  21. Give me a fucking break. Ridiculous decision.
  22. I agree. I don’t think Hangman Page has the promo chops to pull that off. Then again, he does come across as naturally unlikeable and kind of whiny. If they leaned into that they could really do something with it. Every time I think about his so-called “acting” abilities I am reminded of that ridiculous angle they did with him where he was constantly walking around with a glass of booze in his hand, crying.
  23. I just marked out for the @MikeCampbell run in. Good to see you post here again Mike.
  24. According to SRS, as of today it’s official and the following former WWE talent have now cleared their non-compete periods and are now able to sign wherever they wish, following their releases from WWE: Dolph Ziggler Mustafa Ali Elias Mace Mansoor Matt Riddle Shelton Benjamin Top Dolla Rick Boogs Dana Brooke Aliyah Dabbo-Kato/Commander Azeez Riddick Moss Emma Shanky Personally, I think it’s bullshit that they released Elias, meanwhile they still have Ezekiel sitting around under contract, but they aren’t using him. FREE EZEKIEL
  25. As I watched the Main Event it struck me that I’d be perfectly fine if I never saw Jon Moxley ever again. I never liked him to begin with, but he is getting pretty much unwatchable for me now. There is literally no part of his act that I like. Moxley is supposedly hurt, right? Why can’t Tony Khan give him an extended vacation? Lord knows he routinely disappears other guys for long stretches of time. Why not Moxley? Unrelated… I’m sure Tony Khan has a “plan” and it’s still very possible that Swerve wins and advances next week…but having Moxley beat Swerve (who is red hot) last week but turn around and lose to Jay White (who is not red hot) this week is just stupid. I know plenty of the AEW hardcores will argue TK is “telling a story” or some such bullshit, but I don’t buy it. Swerve is the hottest guy in the company right now. They should be riding that wave.
