You know, when you view the Kross/McIntyre feud through the lens of the video recap package, it comes across as compelling and well executed. Pity the actual reality of it has been vastly different. Other unrelated observations: The New Day are beyond stale at this point. They are doing the EXACT same shtick they were doing when I stopped watching WWE years ago. Omos vs Braun is going to suck and blow at the same time, yet for some odd reason I still want to see it and I don’t even really know why.

And yet I cannot look away.

That Ricochet/Knight match was pretty damn good, IMO. And I usually don’t enjoy Ricochet at all. Don’t tell me after all this time, we’re going to see Eli Drake/L.A. Knight used properly and live up to his potential.

I respect JJ’s game. That dude always lands on his feet, no matter what. Plus, he’s still in great shape and cuts a good promo. Not sure I need to see him vs. Darby in 2022…but whatever.

Do the math. @sek69 announces he has a new gig, now we hear TK has a surprise planned for tonight. Clearly, sek is now All Elite.

I don’t know what the hell this crap is, but whatever it is, it’s terrible and I am not watching it. Time to watch the Astros murder the Yankees. Fuck this nonsense. Matt Hardy could pop up at any moment.

I barely ever watch NXT but it seems clear to me that Hayes is the obvious blue chipper out of this bunch.

The fans don’t seem to care for Von Wagner. And not in a “he’s a good heel” kind of way. More in a “you suck” kind of way.

I just saw on SmackDown on Friday Hit Row alluded to a new member joining to even their numbers against Zelina’s stable (whose names I forget) and one of the clickbait sites said it’s going to be Hayes.

Oh gawd…I forgot how terrible Booker T is on commentary.

Who the hell is this massive yutz on the pre-show with Sam Roberts and the young lady dressed up as Darby Allin? I want to punch this dude in the face.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. It’s hard to believe FTR had that match with The Bucks on Dynamite, two classics with The Briscoes and now this match, all in the same year. For my money, I don’t know if anything will ever surpass that 2/3 falls against DIY in Toronto. That and the first Briscoes match are probably my favourite FTR matches of all time.

Ever since it debuted, I have been sporadically checking out the Kevin Nash podcast on YouTube. Tristan has been working on that show as a producer and has even been featured on screen a few times. He sometimes took questions from fans, and just this week they were promoting an upcoming event he was going to be performing at. (He was a musician.) It is obvious from seeing how they interact with each other on the show and how he talked about Tristan, just how close Kevin Nash and his son were as a father and son, and how proud of Kevin is of him. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that poor family must be going through right now. I have an uncle who lost his son at the same age, and it literally destroyed him. He has never been the same since. They always say the greatest tragedy is when a parent has to bury a child and I believe that to be true, from what I have seen. This is just unspeakably tragic. I really feel for Kevin Nash and his family right now, this is just terrible news. Nash was just mentioning on this recent show what a terrible year it has been for him, losing Scott Hall and almost losing Triple H. And now his son has died on Scott Hall’s birthday. Heartbreaking.

Has anybody seen the recent IWGP Tag Team Title Match between FTR and Aussie Open from NJPW “Royal Quest?” Apparently it was taped on 10/01 in England, but just got released on New Japan World this past weekend. The match is getting a lot of praise online…people are calling it a MOTYC. Some people are even saying it is better than the matches FTR had with The Briscoes, although I find that hard to believe. But Dax Harwood recently said it might be in his personal Top 3 matches FTR has had in their careers. Just curious if anybody here at PWO had seen it, and what you thought? I have recently been considering subscribing to New Japan World, especially with those New York shows coming up.

Yeah, the show is just…not good. I don’t like watching roundtable discussions under the best of circumstances and these are definitely not that. I would be interested to see an in-depth documentary about the history of the Memphis territory, but this episode told me nothing. I skipped the Andy Kaufman episode. That story has been told to death, I don’t need to see another version of it. I turned on the AWA episode and lasted about two minutes. Between Greg Gagne and Ken Patera, they may have set a new record for combining obnoxiousness and utter bullshit all seated at one table. Greg Gagne is tied with the late Mike Graham (and maybe Black Bart and Manny Fernandez) as the person who has told the most ridiculous, outlandish and provably untrue total bullshit lies and stories in the history of Pro Wrestling. Every time he opens his mouth, nothing but total bullshit comes spewing out. (Actually Hulk Hogan probably belongs in that list too.) This show is a massive disappointment. Jim Cornette keeps going on about how great it is going to be. He claims that the show will be using previously unseen photographs and video footage directly from his archives, but I don’t know if I am willing to sit through these terrible roundtable discussions just to see that stuff.

Honesty, this injury to Punk could be a blessing in disguise. It’s unlikely Tony Khan will fire him while he’s injured. A 7 month recovery gives plenty of time for cooler heads to prevail regarding this entire situation and lots of negotiations to take place. I know he’s not the most popular around here, but anybody can see that Punk can still move the needle and he has plenty of value to bring. This forced time off just might help everybody get some perspective and figure out a way to do business moving forward. Or conversely, Tony Khan might fire Punk tomorrow. Who knows.

Hot damn, that MJF/Regal segment was good shit, pal. So it’s confirmed…Nese and Woods are a full time team called “The Varsity Athletes?” I can live with that. Probably the best possible use of both guys. (Sorry @C.S.)
