  1. Most people are familiar with the 7/27/78, 11/30/79 and 12/6/79 matches, but all of their other matches are available. But has anyone seen the other matches that these two had? It's kinda strange that before the 78 match, there was a previous one hour match on June 1st, why does no one talk about this one? What about the 12/14/78 and 8/22/80 matches? Has anyone seen these? I just watched the 4/16/80 Miami match last week, it was ok...
  2. The Drive has a complete uncut version of this match, as well as a poor VQ handheld of Dory vs Bock from the day before.
  3. This is for the NWA Brass Knuckles Championship. One fall only. Dusty pins Lewin to win the title at 6:21. Lots of blood!!!
  4. According to Clawmaster's Archives, this match took place on July 9, 1978
  5. I definitely cannot find the 9/21/78 match vs Bockwinkel and Lanza. Is it available on Classics? On Dailymotion, there is one listed as that, but when you start the match, it clearly says 12/5 instead. And I do not think the 12/9/78 match vs Sheik and Abby is the same as 9/19/78. On the Drive, it is marked as 12/9 when you start the match... EDIT---- I AM 100% CONVINCED THAT THERE IS NO 9/21 MATCH. IT NEVER HAPPENED. The Funks were in Canyon TX that night, Clawmaster archives. Thursday, September 21, 1978 – West Texas State Fieldhouse – Canyon, TX 1) Noah Jones fought Dennis Stamp to a draw 2) Marie Laverne defeated Kay Noble 3) Dory Funk, Jr. & Larry Lane fought Doug Somers & Roger Kirby to a draw 4) Ted DiBiase defeated Mr. Pogo (w/ Oliver Humperdink) 5) Texas Death Match: Terry Funk defeated Adrian Adonis The main event included the $5,000 Golden Challenge, payable if Adonis was pinned within the first 10 minutes. Bockwinkel worked in Memphis on the 18th and on the 22nd in Minneapolis against Rufus R Jones. http://crazymax.org/newsite/results/awa-results-1978/ The Highspots Funks in Japan match listed as 9/21/78 is indeed 12/5.... Dory was not in Japan all year until the December tag league, according to Masa Horie's site----- http://www.oocities.org/smokyrobmoore/jp103000.htm Prove me wrong...i would love to see 2 matches between these teams.... I am also fairly certain that there was no 9/19/78 match against Sheik and Abby, since Dory wasn't in Japan all year....
  6. I'm still confused....it looks like there is no so match on NWA On Demand now... The one on the WWE Mid South set also looks like Houston... Does the 3/30 New Orleans match exist on video?
  7. Let's not forget at around the 10:00 mark, Buzz says to Duggan "Grab my pants"....and Duggan exposes Buzz's ass cheeks. Lol This was great....FN insane match. I'm not used to this Duggan either compared to WWF
  8. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4d2e0g_nick-bockwinkel-c-vs-jumbo-tsuruta-2-14-79_sport
  9. On the 7/4/16 and 8/9/16 lists, you also have it as 12/12/80 which is a conflict for Lewin vs Bull Ramos
  10. Lewin vs Funk can't be 12/12/80 if these results list Lewin vs Ramos on that date.... Boesch @ Houston, TX - Sam Houston Coliseum - December 12, 1980 Don Diamond d. Brian Blair Tiger Conway Jr. d. Killer Brooks Mark Lewin d. Bull Ramos Texas Tag Titles: Jose Lothario & Raul Mata © d. The Twin Devils Brass Knuckles Title: Bugsy McGraw d. Bruiser Brody © NWA World Heavyweight Title: Harley Race © d. Gino Hernandez by DQ
  11. Does anyone have full results of the 4/27/79 show with the Terry Funk vs Mark Lewin match? (2/3 falls)
  12. First fall 21:05 shown of 31:28 Second fall 13:56 shown of 17:32 Third fall (complete) 4:55 Total match time 53:55
  13. Super weak?? I really don't know about your reviews anymore, Boots. You said something similar about the BOTSJ Final last week...
  14. So...apparently NWA On Demand lowered their prices from $8.99 to a mere $5.99 per month!!! Woohoo!!!
  15. I really liked this match. Lawler's comebacks were insane. 18:05 shown of an announced 32:53. I can't go higher than 3 1/2*** due to the heavy clipping
  16. Nobody wants to talk about this one? A much different match than their most famous one from a year ago, but still excellent in every way. I loved it. 4 1/2****
  17. Just found this on youtube. It's not on the AWA set. Has anybody seen this?
  18. Haha, that's what I was trying to tell you about those Evolve shows a few weeks ago, Boots!!!
  19. Boots.....I will admit I haven't watched last weekend's Evolve shows yet. But if you are telling me that Riddle vs Thatcher 4 1/2**** Keith Lee vs O'Reilly 4 3/4**** Yehi vs O'Reilly 4 3/4**** Rush vs Sabre 4 3/4**** Riddle vs Galloway 4 1/2**** These must be the best shows of the year by far!!!
  20. The one hour draw with no falls is 10/7/57. They had a rematch six days later 10/13/57 NWA World Heavyweight Title Best Two Out Of Three Falls Match Lou Thesz © vs. Rikidozan [1:1] - Draw - Lou Thesz besiegt Rikidozan (15:00) - Rikidozan besiegt Lou Thesz (10:40) - Double Count Out (6:53)
  21. Gotta get it from Alfredo.... http://slambamjam.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_7_41&products_id=1065
