[2017-03-31-WrestleCon Supershow] Team Ricochet (Ricochet & Jason Cade & Sami Callihan & AR Fox & Dezmond Xavier) vs Team Ospreay (Will Ospreay & Ryan Smile & Drew Galloway & Lio Rush & Marty Scurll)
Ricochet, AR Fox, Sami Callihan, Jason Cade and Dezmond Xavier vs Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, Drew Galloway, Ryan Smile, and Lio Rush Highspots Wrestlecon Supershow, Friday 3/31/17 I had two friends who were there live saying it was the greatest match they had ever seen. Another one disliked it and called it a silly spotfest. I watched it yesterday. It was very entertaining, but I could have done without the dance competition in the middle of the match. Meltzer rated it 4 1/2****. I would have gone around 4. This match seems to have been overlooked from some people who reviewed the big shows last weekend. It definitely needs to be seen

[1986-12-25-AWA-Brawl in St. Paul] Nick Bockwinkel vs Curt Hennig
Looks like this is the complete version, clocking in at 26:02. The WWE Classics version (DVDVR AWA Set) has more than 6 1/2 minutes clipped. Great match, but a godawful terrible finish. I still can't go more than 4 1/4 ****

[1996-06-07-AJPW-Super Power Series] Mitsuharu Misawa & Jun Akiyama vs Steve Williams & Johnny Ace
Oh lord, I have cursed those missing seven minutes ever since I first saw this match over 20 years ago. I always hope that somehow this match will be made available in full on a Japanese DVD set or something or maybe AJPW On Demand nowadays. I never agreed with this being the WON MOTY for an incomplete match. But I'll keep waiting....the Kobashi and Kikuchi tag from 5/25/92 came out years ago in complete form, so perhaps there's still a chance....

[1981-10-07-AJPW] Ric Flair vs Terry Funk
I wish that this was not handheld footage. I wish that the 3 falls went more than 20 minutes. I feel that a major thing lacking during this match was that I couldn't see Terry Funk's amazing facial expressions and selling. I think there was double juice by the end, but I'm not entirely sure. I loved how Flair pounced on Terry unleashing the punches to the head at the start of the second fall. Make no mistake though....I REALLY liked this match, but I would have enjoyed it more if it was pro-shot. Definitely 4 stars

[1981-10-06-AJPW-Giant Series] Ric Flair vs Genichiro Tenryu
Ric Flair's first defense of the NWA Title in Japan!!! This is absolutely a hidden gem, perhaps overlooked by the more famous Terry Funk and Jumbo matches the next few days. I just got a copy of this complete match after seeing the highlights. I have never seen Tenryu so young before, he was 31 at the time and Flair was 32. I'm not good at long detailed reviews, but you need to seek this out. It is longer than the Funk and Jumbo matches as well. I would rate it at least 4 1/4**** This is 9 minutes of highlights. The full match is more than 30 minutes. Available on All Japan Classics 9/5/05 "Flair vs. Tenryu"

[1985-04-28-Mid South-Tulsa, OK] Ric Flair vs Kerry Von Erich
I agree that it is Tulsa, but I say the date is 4/27. Flair defended against Terry Taylor on 4/28 in Oklahoma City. Some sites list this as a WCCW match, but I believe it must be Mid South. Any thoughts? Wait a second...is the 4/28 Taylor match actually 4/30 in Shreveport? World Class, Parade of Champions II - Irving, TX - Texas Stadium - 5/5/85 (26,153) NWA World Champion Ric Flair fought Kevin Von Erich to double count-out at 22:00 Mid South Wrestling, Jackson, MS - 5/4/85 NWA World Champion Ric Flair vs. Kerry Von Erich Mid South Wrestling, Houston, TX - 5/3/85 NWA World Champion Ric Flair defeated Terry Taylor Mid South Wrestling, Shreveport, LA - 4/30/85 NWA World Champion Ric Flair defeated Terry Taylor Mid South Wrestling, Oklahoma City, OK - 4/28/85 NWA World Champion Ric Flair defeated Jake Roberts World Class, Tulsa, OK - 4/27/85 NWA World Champion Ric Flair pinned Kerry Von Erich

[1986-07-27-WWF-Toronto, ONT] Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat
You can watch the 6 man elimination tag from MSG 2/23/87 (Piper, JYD and Steamboat vs Race, Adonis, and Savage). Also the 5/15/87 singles match from Houston. 11/1/86 Boston and 11/8/86 Philly are pre-injury. They also faced each other twice in 85. Wrestling Classic 11/7, and 12/7/85 Boston

[1986-07-12-WWF-MSG, NY] Randy Savage & Adrian Adonis vs Tito Santana & Bruno Sammartino (Cage)
I just watched this for the first time in many years. It was really great, but not the best WWE cage match ever. I have a problem rating a match so high that goes less than 10 minutes. Available on the Network, Vault, Home Video Classics, 1986. "Inside the Steel Cage". Starts at 24:00
-
[1986-07-27-WWF-Toronto, ONT] Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat
I just watched the complete version of this match, not the same as Best of Coliseum Volume NIne.. It goes 19:06, which is probably their longest match available. Savage got posted halfway thru and bled a lot!! I'm not good at long reviews, but I would give this around 4**** 1/2 or better.

Greatest WWF/E IC Championship Match of All Time?
I also have a Savage-Steamboat match that aired on International Wrestling Challenge in Italy, taped on 1/27/87 in Ft Myers FL. The 1/10/87 Philly house show is online as well.
