I can't see any way they won't make it that high for me either. They are right there with The Fantastics & MX in my book as far as work but won't go quite as high due to not having as much footage*. You and I have vastly different tastes on modern wrestling but I am glad that we are in agreement here. *I have some more stuff I can scour my collection for to add to youtube if anyone else ever pops into this thread and watches what's already up and wants more.

What exactly is the "Love Missile"?? I'm secretly hoping you eventually run some type of ICW like angle where Vinnie Valentino has to wear boots if he loses. Iceman might need to bring his own scale to the ring next time. Good stuff with The Road Warriors vs. Robley's army. They need to find an ally somehow before they lose to the numbers game. Wonder why Tanaka was so mad about Sheik's interference? AWA is starting to catch fire and I'm digging it more by the week.

The Timothy Flowers stuff is top notch, I forgot to mention that after last week's show. Just goes to show a guy doesn't have to be a big name to make him interesting in this project.

Yea I'm with you here. I haven't had a WWE Network subscription for the past few months because I think the Owens/Cena stuff is essentially the template they are going to run with now and that shit does absolutely nothing for me. I'm fine living in the past with NWAClassics and the stupid amount of DVDs I have. I'll put Raw on in the background since it is free but they aren't getting my money.

So basically you book a "title vs title" match so that you get media clicks on Comedy Central and ESPN. Smart The point should always be to try and increase your audience. I don't see anything wrong with it. I doubt they are turning off any of the fans who are already subscribers to the Network and watching Raw every week, especially when so many people were hand wringing over Cena possibly winning.

Ziggler is truly awful if he was able to drag down Rusev. Why he wanted to re-sign when all he's done over the past few years is cry about his push is beyond me. Wish he'd have gone off to fail at other endeavors like stand-up comedy rather than continue to fail at being a good or interesting pro wrestler.

I wonder if they didn't get way more Arrow fans taking advantage of the free month than expected. I mean I don't even remember hearing about this stuff for WrestleMania which you would think is what gets the most live views of anything all year.

I don't think they are gonna run another Hogpen match but you never know.

It's true that people years later could look back at a match with a great build and watch it in a vacuum and not think it was as good as people at the time who were watching it in context. I was in that boat with the "Every stip in the world" Duggan vs. DiBiase match the first time I saw it. But that doesn't mean you should feel any obligation to try and separate the context from a star rating or your praise of a match. I feel no need to be that analytical about wrestling and don't do star ratings anyway but if I did I wouldn't be worried about trying to judge it "only on technical merits" and ignore the fact that I got more out of the match because it was a great payoff to a long story.

I am going to have to give these guys a hard look. I have seen quite a few Road Warriors matches that I like but they were from AWA & Montreal which isn't where I think most people are getting this "they sucked and just gobbled their opponents up" argument from.

I really don't think Duggan/DiBiase is a 5 star match if you go in cold and don't know any of the story. It absolutely benefits from context. I watched it a few years before the DVDVR Mid-South set and didn't "get" why it was supposed to be such a great match. Now having seen all the build I'd absolutely go 5* on it.

Stupid Vinnie Valentino. You come out with your own troupe of ladies and get distracted by Garvin's? Pretty wild ending to Humongous vs Iceman. Parsons & Samu should have been a little more grateful for the assistance. I like the idea of those 2 as a tag team if you go that route. Looking forward to the big 8 man tag. I loved seeing Hogan in tag/multi man tag situations in AWA.
