It's gonna be a while before I get around to using Bulldog Brower so if anyone wants to use him just let me know and you can have him to do whatever the hell you want you don't even need to run it by me.

Portland/Vancouver Merger Draft - Starting now
I'd say just go snake.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
I think stuff like Hogan exaggerating his story of slamming Andre isn't really all that comparable to owning apartments and trying to keep out black people and latinos. But the court of public opinion has spoken so what do I know.

Portland/Vancouver Merger Draft - Starting now
I was actually hoping to get Fergie and put him in stripes to give referee Jack Howe a break. Oh well.

1983 Project General Chatter Thread
There is a guy left in the Portland/Vancouver draft that I am STUNNED is still there. I was kind of hoping he'd go in the last few picks because he's too good for me not to take him if El Boricua doesn't but he's also so good that I'd have to give him something meaningful to do which would kind of disrupt my plans.

Wahoo when are you writing out the dudes you gave up for the draft?

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
Well I think it's pretty insane to compare Hogan to a noted Klan member or Strom Thurmond considering we're talking about public racist actions against something that no one would ever even know about if there weren't terrible websites like Gawker out there invading people's privacy.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
Well I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Paula Deen's stuff was way worse because the more you dug the more you found. I seriously doubt we're about to uncover stories of Hogan doing shit like Paula Deen's dinner party.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
Dog the Bounty Hunter got his show back after his shit, there's no way Hogan doesn't bounce back from this. If people are willing to forgive Dog, they'll forgive Hogan.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
Please. This will be out of the spotlight as soon as the next thing to be outraged about hits twitter.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
Hogan said some really vile shit in a private conversation. Is he really a horrible irredeemable racist though? I mean I have heard ZERO stories of him refusing to work with other black wrestlers, not signing autographs for black kids, NOTHING like that. I think the whole situation is pretty shitty. As far as him being "scrubbed" there is no way this is going to last longer than a few weeks/couple of months. WWE is just covering it's ass right now and once the story blows over it'll be business as usual. There's no way they are going to go to the Benoit lengths with him. He's not going to get Network disclaimers and his matches unsearchable and not on time stamps.

If Bob Sweetan is still in the game I think Hulk is safe. I'm not even gonna go into it, but I did some digging on him last night I wish that I had not done.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
I don't read it or mags like it, but I assume in this day and age that an outfit like the Enquirer would be absolutely 100% sure of what they had before they released it since it could and would potentially ruin the celebrity involved. The lawsuit they would have to pay out on something like this should it be untrue at the end of the day would have to be astronomical. I know how low-brow these mags are, but even they have to be more careful nowadays on stuff like this, no? Actually from what I've read the Enquirer sources their stories like this way more than the usual news outlet for that exact reason. They've been sued A LOT I am sure they have a very strong legal department at this point.

NWA On Demand
If you are a subscriber and haven't watched The Bunkhouse Battle Royal yet, definitely check it out. So much cool stuff in there and it even has some fun psychology with guys working to try and get Dr. Death's football helmet off. The visual at the end of the bloody winner swinging around a chain was pretty bad ass too.

Dave Meltzer stuff
I really doubt that he was better in OVW than he was in WWE. It's not like he was BAD in WWE, the tag team with Haas led to some good matches and he looked like he might break out as a singles star after the team broke up and he went to Raw. But I think the big thing about Shelton is that he never really seemed to grow as a performer or improve in any noticeable way. I mean he was pretty much the same guy in the ring from when he debuted in 2002 until 2007 when he became the Gold Standard. Not being a good promo also limited him.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Actually Cornette seemed to think the same thing. Cornette says Brock didn't want to do shit in OVW while Shelton was busting his ass so that's what made it look that way. But then Brock turned it way up when he got to the main roster to the point Cornette said it was like watching an entirely different guy.

International Championship Wrestling
Adrian Street is so awesome. He worked a feud in Continental with Wendell Cooley where Cooley lost a match and had to wear a dress (or Street lost and put the dress on Cooley anyway, not sure) and Street called him Gwendolyn Cooley after that. I don't think Garvin is going to stand for that kind of shit though. Also, I immediately googled "Mike Doggendorf knee" after reading that. Holy shit. That Tim Tyler sure doesn't seem very bright.

Edge & Chistian
I can't see any arguments for these guys. At least The Hardys have a lot of good non-gimmick matches on their resume. All the big matches for E&C involve ladders.

Is Daniel Bryan Nearing The End Of The Road?
Quite frankly "Daniel Bryan MUST be the top star and the Mania main event!" is a ridiculous attitude. My eyes might just roll out of my head if I keep reading about how he should quit WWE if he can't be THE top guy and main event every WrestleMania card he's on.

Your confessions as a wrestling fan
Not quite the same but if I am having trouble sleeping then I put on some long 20-30 minute match and watch it from bed. Works almost every single time. This may play some part into my phobia of watching any matches longer than 15 minutes.

I liked the Reed/Kamala Lumberjack match the other one not so much. But if you haven't watched the Reed/Landell match yet you need to do that ASAP

Finally took the 30 minute plunge and watched the Andre vs. Harley Race NWA Title match. And yea, it's awesome. And I still say that despite them doing like my least favorite transition of "dude hits a vertical suplex but somehow hurts himself more in the process" Andre looked great in this and is more evidence that Andre was really damn good before he got immobile.

[1979-01-07-Houston Wrestling] Harley Race vs Andre the Giant
I also really did not care for Harley doing a bearhug to Andre, it just looked ridiculous and I just couldn't buy it. They also did my least favorite transition in the first fall where Andre hit a vertical suplex but somehow hurt himself more than he hurt Harley. But they quickly got back in my good graces with Harley doing his big falling headbutt to downed Andre and wiping his own self out in the process. I really dug Andre's comeback after Harley was punching him in the corner but didn't really like the finish. Still, this was a really good match and an interesting one because Andre did a lot of stuff in this one that's not "typical" Andre especially all the holds he worked in the first fall.
