- Flair's podcast (WOOOOONation)
I am listening to the Kevin Sullivan shoot right now, I think Flair has my favorite wrestling podcast I have listened to. Yea he can kind of ramble at times but it usually ends in a funny story.- NWA On Demand
Yes somehow the footage is stretched to the point of being unwatchable. The really weird audio mix is more annoying but I didn't even see anyone complain about that.- NWA On Demand
This topic is another reminder why this is the best wrestling message board. I have a headache after reading the NWA Classics topic over on wrestlingclassics where about 95% of the posts are about aspect ratio & site navigation complaints.- WWE TV 7/6 - 7/12
Maybe they just didn't overreact to the rating the way people expected them to. Doesn't seem like they did anything drastic this week as a ratings grab.- World Wrestling Federation
Mr. Joe Blanchard is extremely upset. For some reason he seems to think that he sent El Gran Apollo to Allentown to do a TV taping and there was no one there at the airport to pick him up, then when he got to the arena there wasn't even anyone there to DO a TV taping.- WWE TV 7/6 - 7/12
Everything I've read about the subject says AJ Styles brings in a few extra hundred fans for his indy dates. An additional 200-300 fans on the indies is pretty significant.- NWA On Demand
I also watched that the other day and I bet that felt like a pretty flat main event in the building after some of that undercard. I think I've watched all the Butch Reed stuff now except for the 6 man tag I said I was going to watch 3 days ago...- NWA On Demand
I bet Steve Constance took a real beating that night.- NWA On Demand
Well the Barry Orton/Poffo match & the Mark Ragin vs. Pat Rose match are both up so hopefully we'll get that awesome sounding main event and the other two matches. I would really love to see a full Magnum TA vs. Mr Wrestling II match.- 1983 Project General Chatter Thread
Well, I am still going to be posting results on the same day that my TV airs because the Saturday market of Waco, TX is going to be kind of the odd duck of my loop. I don't want to run that town on a delay nor do I want to spoil the results of the big HemisFair Arena Sunday show a day early so I will be doing special lineups for the Saturday shows with local insert promos for those matches. Like obviously right now you can see that Tully's mystery partner for that match against Bob Sweetan & Scott Casey is going to be Killer Khan but then I couldn't advertise his name until a local insert right at the end of the show.- Rusev
I actually liked Rusev's promo on Raw tonight but then Dolph's music hit and Dolph came out and started talking and that was my signal to turn off Raw so i don't know what happened after that. I still think Rusev will find his way out of this and it's Lana who is the one who is going to have the most problems post breakup.- 1983 Project General Chatter Thread
I have my entire July TV tapings finished for both All Japan and New Japan just collecting dust. I have stuff outlined out in my head for a few months but I am half way through writing my full episode for next week so more than likely I will post on my taping date again haha.- Dave Meltzer stuff
I don't even watch New Japan and I watched the Makabe/Ishii match because of how badly people shit on Makabe's strikes. For Dave to try and dance around giving any criticism of that match by saying "well maybe they planned to make stuff look bad so people would think Ishii is really hurt" is absurd. This is the type of ridiculous fanboy stuff that he would laugh at and mock on twitter if it was coming from the TNAMecca people.- 1983 Project General Chatter Thread
I posted my full TV on the taping date. I might not do that going forward, I'm not sure. I just didn't feel like waiting another 5 days to post it.- NWA On Demand
NWA Classics is actually the only one of those that I currently have. I am really at a lowpoint of UFC fandom right now and have never really been into New Japan. I have had the WWE Network twice, I resubscribed on a free month recently but I didn't keep it. I realize that they have a huge library but I'm just not all that likely to go back and watch old WWF, WCW or ECW PPVs. Maybe I'll subscribe again once they put up a few more years of Raw & Nitro. I've given up any expectations that they will get around to their territory library though.- Dave Meltzer stuff
This is flat out ridiculous. How is that supposed to excuse the strike exchange between them where Makabe has about 10 punches in a row that clearly go over Ishii's head while Ishii actually makes his shit look decent?- What is the future of NXT?
I think the idea is that SummerSlam is an event like WrestleMania where people travel from all over the place to be there. And if these people are that into WWE that they traveled 100s of miles for SummerSlam, they are also likely to want to see an NXT show. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a password protected forum. The match was disappointing in how short it was but I laughed a LOT during that post match. It was really some of the best "wrestling bull shit" I have ever seen.- NWA On Demand
I just watched the Butch Reed vs. Magnum T.A. North American Title match and I have to say it was pretty disappointing. The finish sucked and the match got pretty boring at times. Probably would have been better if it was 3-4 minutes shorter.- Southeastern Championship Wrestling - Press Release
Well Josh Stroud had the body to LOOK like a good Patriot.- Southeastern Championship Wrestling - Press Release
Although I'm pretty sure I know who The Masked Medics are, I'm not quite sure who you have under The Patriot mask. Some good matchups here, I'd definitely watch a Bobby Eaton vs. Danny Davis match.- Shin Nihon Puroresu (New Japan)
Fujiwara vs. Abdullah the Butcher sounds like a pretty interesting matchup.- Southwest Championship Wrestling Results
