CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Not according to the interview. He said originally after the Taker match he planned to be gone until SummerSlam but they called him with their summer plans for him which included him feuding with Chris Jericho and then being turned on by Paul Heyman.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
evilclown's takeaway from that is so ridiculous I have to think he's just trolling. Punk wasn't even scheduled to face any new talent, his next two opponents were setup to be Kane and then HHH at WrestleMania.

Current WWE
I haven't really seen too much news to confirm whether he's actually injured or not. What's the story?

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Wrong. They gave him a concussion test, which he passed. He says their concussion test is a joke and that after he passed they told him "we think you still have a concussion, we want you to go run the ropes" at which point he said "no let's just call it a concussion."

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Firing him on his wedding day is REALLY petty. It doesn't upset me or offend me but it's just incredibly stupid, especially when they had to know they couldn't withhold his royalty checks and that pissing him off was just going to push him into court over it.

I really wish he'd have just decided to drop the belt so we could have had heel Daniel Bryan vs. The Rock.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
It's not worth freaking out over, the upload is broken which is probably why it came off iTunes. It's only about 50 minutes of a 2 hour interview.

New TNA Home
I just read that as part of the move to Destination America they are trying to shake up the presentation of the show, and a part of that is replacing Mike Tenay with Josh Matthews. I'm not that big of a fan of Matthews, I actually think Todd Grisham is the guy WWE dropped the ball on, but I will actually give TNA another chance if they are going to address their AWFUL presentation issues.

Current WWE
Having good matches on TV or PPV in WWE doesn't really mean anything. Cesaro has essentially been trending downwards since WrestleMania and Sheamus was back to doing nothing about 2-3 weeks after his return.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Finally got it to download. Working on putting it up on a popular wrestling torrent site just in case the site gets knocked out again tomorrow.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Yea, that site is down. I guess I'll either hope someone puts it somewhere I can actually download it or I'll just wait to read a recap.

Wrestling Culture Episode 61
On the flip side of that, doesn't it make it EASIER to be a big draw when you have a much larger population base to fill a 20,000 seat arena from?

Current WWE
WCW had more guys on their roster to waste but I'm starting to feel like modern WWE is competing with them in the "most talented roster that's being completely wasted" department. How do they have so much TV time and still feel like NOTHING happens with anyone outside of MAYBE 8-10 people at a time.

It's off by 20 for me too.

WWE Network... It's Here
"Taking up space" isn't really an issue. It seems silly to have something be a youtube exclusive when you're asking people to pay for The Network. It should be a one stop shop. Not to say they couldn't still have shows on youtube, but it should be on The Network as well.

Sting in WWE
I'm glad they went with a much worse booking choice that had no real long term plan behind it rather than using Randy Orton just so they could "mess with the internet"

WWE Suvivor Series 2014
Only if you admit that Van Hammer circa 91 wouldn't have looked out of place on one of the teams. If I was going to try and get you to watch something from the past year of WWE it absolutely wouldn't be this main event. Maybe Brock/Cena from SummerSlam since it's one of the only main events this year with a real finish outside of WrestleMania.

Nicest person in wrestling
Bobby Eaton is the one guy I've always heard people say good things about. There is also the famous story of Bill Dundee finding out his daughter was dating a wrestler and flipping out until he realized it was Bobby.

Sting in WWE
Sting came before the time when everyone started crying in the ring. A better, simpler time.

WWE Suvivor Series 2014
I thought the booking of Rusev's elimination was good. Otherwise a pretty shitty main event and Sting looked really old and I do not care that he is "finally" in the WWE. I wasn't exactly waiting with bated breath. I have never cared for Ziggler and nothing about tonight changed that for me. Would have much rather had them put the spotlight on Ryback or even Rowan to tell you how much I don't care for a guy who has nothing but cartoonish bumping and overly contrived looking offense.

Current WWE
Just watch the preview of it in the Shoots thread. Stuff like him claiming he had a locker room confrontation with all 3 of the Shield and bitched them out, acting like he's some long time veteran shaking his head at the new kids, claiming that he put together a lot of Del Rio's matches. Ricardo is full of shit.

Let's consider how much bullshit was in that shoot before we get overly outraged about hearsay.

Dark horses and personal favorites
Chris Colt shows up in 1986 Continental but he feels extremely out of place and it's not anything I think you'd want to use for a case. He's there about 6 months from around June/July of 86 though into the beginning of 1987.

What are you watching?
No I'm only through the first two weeks of April so far but that sounds like a reason to keep watching. Oh! I didn't mention how often they plug their wrestling school run by Buddy Fuller. $2000 for 8 weeks of training. I haven't heard of anyone ever coming out of this school and becoming a successful wrestler so I'm assuming they tired guys out at the gym for hours in the morning and then stretched them on the mat to try and make them quit in the afternoons.
