BOARD UPGRADE - REPORT ANY PROBLEMS
I'm glad we aren't going to do likes here. Also glad you put the Legacy theme on here or else I felt like I was going to end up coming here less. I honestly stopped going to DVDVR for a while until they put up a theme that made it LOOK like DVDVR again.

WWE Network finally happening
EDIT: Nevermind I'm not jumping in this discussion when I think it's ridiculous how much of it is going on in the first place.

Yes Tim, yes it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaria However, I'd like to see actual PROOF that the money went to a charity rather than just taking their word for it.

WWE Network finally happening
I'm pretty frustrated how ever since the announcement of the launch seemingly the #1 thing talked about has been Over The Edge 99. Will they show it? Will they edit it? Really? Why are people so morbidly fascinated by this topic? It's even more annoying to me how many people will rush to watch that as the first thing they do when they get The Network. Fuck all this newly available awesome wrestling in high quality streams, let me rush to see how WWE handled showing Owen Hart's death!

Punk Walks Out of WWE
The Punk chants are really stupid to me. I don't think that's really WWE's fault. Taking over the show with Yes chants or Daniel Bryan chants is far more understandable. This seems like fans just trying to get themselves over.

The Daniel Bryan Push Thread
Yea the sports talk radio audience as compared to the live sports audience is not even comparable. Kind of like comparing how many people know that the Seahawks won the Superbowl to the number of people who know about all the drama between Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin and ESPN analyst Cris Carter after the game.

Current WWE
I kind of feel like they HAVE to go with Bryan winning in the Chamber. They could go a lot of different directions after that, but I think they have to just throw people a bone and try to create a happy fan base going into the Network launch.

The Daniel Bryan Push Thread
Lots of former WWE guys would be "trending" if it came out they got arrested for beating their wife.

Think he's worked at least once for them under the El Local mask too.

Undertaker > Hogan
Where's the beef?

I agree with this, that double turn match was the best match of the PPV and I almost didn't even watch it I was so uninterested to begin with. But they didn't capitalize. By the time their next PPV match came around, I was back to not caring even though the two had just had a hell of a match the month before. As far as Dolph as a top of the card guy, I don't see it. He's not a World Title guy, especially now that there is only 1. He's a guy who can challenge the champ every now and then but never win. He's all bumps and selling. Which can take you a long way, but not all the way unless you have something to add to it.

Anyone ever see this Silent Library game show with some WWE guys on it? It's got Dolph Ziggler, Chris Masters, Trent Barreta, Caylen Croft, JTG and Curt Hawkins, so pretty much guys WWE didn't care about throwing to some obscure MTV game show, but it's kind of a fun concept and worth a few minutes of time watching.

The Daniel Bryan Push Thread
I 100% guarantee to you that at least one human being did. I know more than one person who sees Bryan exactly how the heels portray him to be - too small, ugly beard, not top guy material Yea but how many of them felt that way before the whole Bryan vs Authority angle started? There's always going to be people who grew up with guys like Hogan & Warrior who aren't going to see anyone as a star unless they're a big muscled up guy. To be honest with you, I have a hard time buying smaller guys in main events unless they have really good offense to make up for it. Bryan always managed to hit that threshold, CM Punk not all the time.

Times you thought it was a shoot.
I actually thought the whole Manny Fernandez/Invader thing was real the first time I saw the video when the quality was pretty crappy. It was way too much blood to be a blood capsule or something like that. I guess I didn't think about drinking pig's blood and vodka to make yourself spew blood all over the ring.

I think it's a lot of different things. I don't think they really put enough heat on Austin/Rock, I think they put way too much focus on Hogan/McMahon and they had the roles completely backwards for Angle/Lesnar.

Punk Walks Out of WWE
I kind of thought it went without saying that he was going to get that money run through the buzz saw of the federal government.

I think that's more about "small white workrate indy guys" the only other Japanese wrestler they have that I know is Yoshi Tatsu who is pretty much a non-entity for them. Wouldn't hurt to have him for when they do their rare Japan tours.

Punk Walks Out of WWE
I don't think it's completely out of the question. He's a guy who was on all the house shows, did overseas tours and I'm pretty sure he wrestled all or at least 9-10 of the PPVs last year. The Shield was pretty heavily featured on some of the PPVs too.

As far as Hogan goes, I think the WWE policy is that if you don't pass the physical then you can't DO anything physical. Including throwing punches.

Improvement of former indy wrestlers in WWE
EDIT:Apparently he's already banned so there's no point.

Punk Walks Out of WWE
Because no one in WWE OR TNA cares about IMMEDIATELY updating their roster pages whenever something happens. This is some goofy internet meme that has never died despite the fact that we have repeatedly seen it take days for guys to get removed from those pages, especially when it's a thing like this and not an out and out release.

I could get behind a Ryback/Swagger team with Zeb. Ryback needs some really overdone airbrushed red white and blue gear. Don't see any reason to throw Axel into that mix though. Time to just cut their losses there. They hold on to guys way too long after it's obvious that the potential everyone saw in them is not going to be realized. Ted Jr. would probably still be there if he didn't decide to leave on his own!
