The fans were already predisposed to shit on that match because they knew both guys were leaving. And they were especially hostile to Lesnar because how dare he decide he didn't want to spend 300 days a year on the road after he got a huge push. They could have gone out and had a wild bloody brawl and it wouldn't have really changed the crowd reactions that much. Are we really going to pretend that sometimes the crowd has decided before a match even begins that they are going to shit on one of the wrestlers or the whole match itself? In an era where Roman Reigns was in the middle of a WWE MOTY candidate and getting "You Can't Wrestle" chants?

Which blogs had the story? http://crazydaysandnights.net/2016/10/todays-blind-items-pay-your-dealer.html

I watched that match again when the Network first came out and the match did not start out bad. Golberg & Lesnar started slow to build a "Clash of the titans" type feel, the way it should have. But the crowd had already made up their mind they were going to shit on the match and were heavily doing so and since Golberg & Lesnar both knew they weren't coming back they pretty much just said "fuck it then, why entertain these assholes?" and I don't really blame them.
  4. How do you shit all over a match, say you need to drink a cup of tea to wash the taste of your mouth and yet still give a 3 star rating? I mean if I was the star rating type I think I'd probably give *** to a match that I thought was good but not great instead of something I actively disliked.
  5. Here is the link to that match if anyone read the review and wanted to see it which should be every single person who read it. I have no problem saying: if you haven't seen the Bull Pain vs. Soultaker TN women's prison match, sort your life out.
  6. Let someone jam their fingers into your trapezius muscle and then tell me a nerve hold wouldn't actually hurt. This was one of those wrestling moves my brother and I used to do to each other and it fucking SUCKS. Chin locks however are pretty fucking lame and just show a complete lack of creativity.

I'm pretty interested to see what Reigns/Rusev do in the Cell but don't care about the other 2, especially Owens/Rollins.
  8. Who the hell invented that term "rest hold" anyway? It's a grave sin and it's come to the point now where a bunch of idiots think any wrestling hold that doesn't lead to a submission is a "rest hold"

I'm pretty sure I've read that Brock/Goldberg are friends or at least the closest thing that Brock has to that word.

Don't see them letting anyone dive off the cage if for any other reason than it steals Shane's thunder from Mania. I do hope the Goldberg segment pops a huge rating just because all the hand wringing about what that means will amuse me.

Apparently Raw is on. I am not watching it. But I swear that YOU, yes YOU the person reading this post, are also capable of creating the weekly WWE TV thread with an opening post as great as this one.

Hey if you want to get released from a multi-year deal but they refuse to let you go this is probably the only way out.

  15. Just watched the Dusty Rhodes/Ivan Koloff Coffin match. The Texas Death match rules didn't make sense but man the finish on that was great.

Ziggler winning is worse than the Fingerpoke of Doom and the Starrcade 97 finish combined. And Luke Harper is so much better than Bray I was hoping they'd let him do his own thing on Raw.

There is no happier way to end a wrestling show than with the knowledge that you will never have to see Dolph Ziggler wrestle again.
  19. goc replied to WingedEagle's topic in WWE
I will never say anything bad about modern crowds again if Ziggler loses and the crowd gives him the "NA NA NA NA HEY HEY HEY GOODBYE" song

Someone really needs to sit Cena down with some of his matches from 2007 when he was really good and tell him to stop pretending he's wrestling in Reseda.

I didn't see it but from reading twitter it seems like the point was for it to have a clusterfuck feel so AJ could take advantage of the confusion and win.
