I don't have the Network any more but I am pretty sure you are wrong. I know I watched a non-live pre-show when I did have it.

Reading tweets about how American Alpha have been wasted since their call up from NXT because "they haven't been on an actual PPV yet" makes me wish WWE would just get rid of the pre-show all together because all anyone ever does it bitch about how whatever wrestlers are on it are being wasted cuz they aren't on the actual PPV. Even though the "actual" PPV is taking place in the same arena on the same Network watched by the same people but hey that 30 minutes a is HUGE god damn difference.

The "Why is the three way going on first?" speculation on twitter has seemed to miss the simplest answer. It's the only way for WWE to get the maximum amount of social media activity before the debate. It's going to be hilarious when people bitch about how there is no big angle or 2nd title match later in the night just because they worked themselves into thinking it's impossible that the WWE title match could start the show for any other reason than that.

AJ Styles should just quit WWE this is disgusting!!!! They devalued CM Punk's title reign by having him be in the semi-main event most of the time but now they are pissing all over AJ Styles by making him a curtain jerker!!!!

I don't buy that Cena has been getting a free pass, at least not on this board. I know I'm not the only person who has talked about how he made a big shift in style in & after the Owens series and not for the better. I also shit all over the Royal Rumble three-way with Rollins/Brock and a big part of it was because of Cena spamming the AA so much. That said, I'd still take bad John Cena over bad Kurt Angle and definitely good Cena over good Angle (which lasted like what? at most 3 years?)

Conrad really exposed his lack of knowledge this week comparing ECW & Houston Wrestling. The "if Houston would have just stayed running their little bingo halls" line was especially idiotic considering the Sam Houston Coliseum was a 10,000+ seat arena that had weekly wrestling.

I don't want any of those guys (and especially not Dolph Ziggler who was left off of it) to be the one to beat Miz for the IC Title. I would actually like to see Mojo Rawley be the one who eventually takes the belt off of Miz.

I uploaded the rest of the California Championship Wrestling I had to youtube today and found a match with Jose Lothario against Gran Goliath where Jose had suddenly grown a full head of hair again in 1986. I really can't even make fun of him for it because he looks about 10 years younger in that match than he does in the 1984 stuff on NWA On Demand. I don't consider Owens or Jericho great heels like Miz & Charlotte are right now. Miz & Charlotte get real heel heat, they don't go out of their way to try and be funny and entertaining the way Owens & Jericho do.

Even the presence of Killer Brooks can't keep me away from that match.

Feel free to post any Southeastern musings in the Southeastern/Continental thread that is not actually supposed to be just for my posts even though that's mostly all it has been.

I don't think the TNA library is really worth that much to anyone other than WWE (and even for them I don't see them doing much with it except putting some AJ Styles matches on the Network) so if this is true, props to Corgan for not getting hung up on it. If the idea is to rebrand the company and make it into something different then the only thing worth spending money on is the talent and being able to take over the existing TV contracts.

At this point "good matches" are so easy to come by I'd much rather see a show that is more focused on consistent storyline progression and good promos/angles. I'd call it more of a throwback to when wrestling TV was good more often than it was bad than saying it's "dated." It also helps make the PPV feel more special if the match quality is noticeably better there than on TV which is something that WWE has struggled with in recent years.
