Probably when New Day were still heels.

He was more a JTTS than he was a straight up jobber. He also had another brief run with the belt where he got it off of a phantom title win in late 99 as well. I think what killed him is that Bischoff didn't want to push guys in masks and he wasn't good looking like Juvy or an already established star like Rey was.

I find it weird that this one gets people so fired up but the thumb up the ass signature spot in PWG gets no mention.

By about hour 3 of your average indy show I would kill someone for something different.

Shhh... that guy didn't wrestle as Batman in the 60s...

I wouldn't but I will tell you this. If I sat through a 4 hour show I would probably remember the dick spot before the 5,000 dives to the floor.

Yes, let's talk about him trying a move in a company that existed when the Commodore 64 was still a viable computing platform.

Jim Cornette is also great for letting me know when some memorable piece of comedy happens out there. I know if he's outraged by it that it's going to be funny. He's also out of touch. He booked RoH into the ground and he acts like Seth Rollins is the greatest thing ever when his title reign tanked Raw ratings to historic lows.

The dick suplex doesn't bother me. I thought the Mick Foley one was hilarious though. I also laughed my ass off at the Young Bucks super kicking the 8 year old. I don't get this hate for it. Comedy has always been a part of wrestling. It adds variety and flavor. It's a single spot in a match that pops the crowd. It's no worse than the Worm.

Yoshihiro Takayama paralyzed
It's been a terrible year in Japan for these kinds of injuries.

Yeah, he had a sweet deal in WCW. Shit ton of money to wrestle maybe 8 times a year and pretty much do his promos shitfaced every week.

WWE Network... It's Here
Is it worth watching?

WWE Network... It's Here
Is there any footage of the Flair/Von Erich match from the 8/15/82 Star Wars show?

When Necro works deathmatches I wince at the thought. There was also a deathmatch from some shitty unknown fed between (I believe) Chaos and Vic Grimes where needles were stuck UNDERNEATH the nails of one of the wrestlers. I don't think I've ever been more freaked out over any other spot in wrestling as I was with that one. It's really the glass that gets to me or the splinter of something getting shoved in your foot. Stepping on a nail or something is going to hurt but that's at least easy to remove. It's also the idea of breaking a toe by hitting something wrong or stubbing it.

Are there any other Race/Bundy matches out there? That ending was disappointing and I want more.

WWE Network... It's Here
Watching the 8-21-82 episode of WCCW. There's a Bundy/Race match that's fairly interesting. I really enjoy watching young Bundy work and Race just beats the shit out of him. EDIT: Fuck yeah, this match rules.

Paige and all that
It's kind of the default defense people use who are in super toxic relationships. I've heard someone pull out the passion defense more than once in my life.

Guys that wrestle bare foot are crazy to me. All the shit you could step on or how easy it would be to break a toe on something. It just blows my mind when I see guys do that.

He makes Earl Hebner look understated when it comes to putting the focus on him. Speaking of World Class refs, I was shocked to see Bronko Lubich take a ref bump (pushed by Kevin no less) on one of the 84 shows. I figured he was like a turtle and would never be able to get up again. I just watched Jose Lothario and Blue Demon vs. Great Kabuki and Magic Dragon in a fun little tag from the 8/14/1982. Manning was involved and annoying as always.

David Manning is literally the worst.
